Originally released by Musical Freedom, the instrumental edit of 19-year-old Oliver Heldens’ deep house smash ‘Gecko’ has become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. 

The latest edit ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, written and vocalled by Becky Hill during a late night recording session with MNEK, is being released by Parlophone’s vital new dance imprint FFRR. Initially written for another vocalist, Becky’s towering vocal on Gecko’s chorus was deemed the perfect fit and has already been coined the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Zane Lowe.

Lausanne’s EDM DJ Djerem releases his single “Never Look Back” in the Swedish style with strong catchy male vocals and melodic keyboard sounds. In the video clip of the song a rollergirl in hot pants is driving along the sea. At the skatepark she’s meeting a long haired nerd sakter in short pants and pullover. At the end of the clip she drives in the streets of the night. At the skatepark she meets again the skater. Besides the original version there are also remixes by Dave202 in Electrohouse manner and by Twenty Feet Down in deep house style.

The resident of Mad Club Lausanne, and artistic director of Tsunami club in the canton of Wallis owns the biggest DJ school in French part of Switzerland: Swiss DJ School. The artist under the wings of EDX’ agency Hieronica won 2008 the DJ contest “I love Deejay”. Since then his career is climbing . In Winter/Spring 2015 he was on the “Welcome To Miami” tour. He also mixed the CD of this event series.
