With releases on renowned labels such as Intacto, 100% Pure and Tronic, the Brazilian producer has become the country’s poster-child for techno heat. With his latest release, Wehbba has turned in a very special concept EP on Marc Romboy’s legendary Systematic Recordings imprint, already earning big BBC spins from Pete Tong and other taste-makers.

Entitled Systematic Shades Vol. 1, the EP finds Wehbba painting three vivid soundscapes to evoke distinct shades of color and movement. The opening track “View of Delft” is an epic builder that invites you to close your eyes, take in the cascading atmospheric synths and envision the colors coming through your ears. The following two cuts solidify the release’s concept, offering up their own distinct shades of dance while clocking in with more peak-time energy."

Fresh from their huge remix of Florian Kruse &amp; Hendrik Burkhard on Noir Music, Pleasurekraft steam into 2016 with a huge two-track debut on Nicole Moudaber&#8217;s MOOD. 
With MOOD releases featuring heavily in the US/Swedish duo&#8217;s sets and Pleasurekraft bombs ignited by Nicole most weekends, it was only a matter of time before a release of this magnitude hit us&#8230; And it&#8217;s a match made in rolling techno heaven. 
&#8216;Defiler&#8217; is wonderfully wrong from the off; even the title suggests the sleaziest, slinkiest, sweatiest late night sessions. By the time the vocal sample murmurs its intent over a slippery, spacious, star-gazing bassline, we&#8217;re locked. Cue tight textures of percussion - rollers and shakers a go-go - it&#8217;s a heads down hypnosis session until sun-up with all the right dynamic elements to keep us twisting. 
&#8216;There Is No Safe Word&#8217; takes us deeper into Pleasurekraft&#8217;s devilish playground. A thunderous, unrelenting drum arrangement takes the lead here with demonic down-pitched vocal textures and vortex shredding swoops and FX adding colour, character and suspense before a precision build-up proceeds to tear a new hole in the spacetime continuum. Safe words? Where we&#8217;re going we don&#8217;t need safe words&#8230; 
Just weeks into 2016 and already MOOD and Pleasurekraft have delivered something to the last the whole year through. Sleeping on this is impossible.

Next up on Gem Records is the Christian Smith & Wehbba remix of Point Blank AKA Secret Cinema - Meng’s Theme which served as inspiration for Adam Beyer to start making techno back in ‘94. The re-release is part of the SILVER project celebrating Secret Cinema’s 25 years in music and comes with a brand new remix by Christian Smith & Wehbba. The EP is ready to hit digital stores on August 19th. A total of nine Secret Cinema classics will be re-released with remixes both digital and vinyl as part of the box set SILVER.

It's been a hectic start to 2012 for Canadian duo The Junkies. Recently signed to the Bullit DJ Agency, Vincenzo and Valentino now prepare to make their debut on SCI+TEC. Earning their stripes through 10 years of playing the Toronto circuit, holding residencies at the legendary Guvernment Club and Footwork Bar, the Junkies shared the decks with many of the worlds most respected DJ's and artists. 2009 saw the them reach out through their music and last years releases and remixes for Monique Musique, Rawthentic Music, Mindshake and Area Remote saw the partnership enjoy their most successful year to date. As their own Local Music label goes from strength to strength and nears its fourteenth release, The Junkies kick off their own musical year with "Au Jour Le Jour" for SCI+TEC. This fresh three track selection sees the guys deliver a variety of dark, driving and funky techno in the form of "Tuco," "Au Jour Le Jour" and "Werq This." 2012 is set to be a huge year for The Junkies and SCI+TEC are happy to welcome them on board.

Having opened the label doors to debutants from across the globe, many of which are just stepping out on their musical journey, SCI+TEC are happy to present a first release on the label from an artist who has been an integral cog in the US electronic music machine for many years.There are not many resident DJ's who can transport a whole dancefloor following from one club to another. Boris the St. Petersburg native and NYC resident did just that. With the imminent closure of his beloved Crobar and having built a huge loyal following through his three year residency, he simply uprooted, moved the 20 blocks north to Pacha New York and continued the party with his "Believe in Boris" faithful. Boris is the latest in a long line of NYC residents that have bonded tightly with their crowd and risen to become folk heroes, both in the US and across the pond. Having plied his groove-based power-house sound across the finest clubs in the US in the early 2000's, it wasn't long before Boris was lending his musical talents to remixing some of the biggest names in pop and finding his name at the top of the Billboard Club chart. On the underground, where he's most at home, Boris has wowed us with his club smashes "I Can't Wait"(Toolroom), "Ariba" (Great Stuff) and the classic "The Drums" (Nervous Records).His debut double-header for SCI+TEC sees Boris presenting his unrivalled dancefloor knowledge in the form of "Generate" and "Foul Beats". Nothing rotten here though, just two prime slices of techno. Whilst the a side warms us with its funky bassline and and elasticated poppin' riff, the b side is pure NYC with its heads-down no-nonsense pile-driver of a kickdrum. One for the darkrooms, its intense atmosphere and huge build will ensure many roof raising moments. Also included on the package is the equally intense and powerful digital exclusive cut, "Check It."
