Bio: 
Geboren in Westberlin balanciert Gene Berlin Zeit seines Lebens zwischen 
den musischen Ausdrucksformen, Malerei, Bildhauerei und Musik. 
Die 1990 produzierte "Centrum" verarbeitet geschichtliche Einflüsse der deutschen 
Wiedervereinigung sowie der deutschen Vergangenheit. Analoge Synthesizer finden 
hier genauso Verwendung wie die frühen digitalen Nachfolger und Samples. 
Ebenso werden Takes aus Filmen mit Ihnen gemischt & erzeugen ein sprachlautliches 
Netz oder funktionieren als Punktierung. 
Die CD findet ausser als Ausstellungssoundtrack für gemeinsame Performances mit 
dem zeitgenössischen Künstler und Freund Florian Trümbach (+) kaum Beachtung. 
In der Zusammenarbeit mit dem britisch geborenen Untergrund-Performance-Künstler
Antal Nemeth gründet Gene Berlin die "Cyberbeatnix" siehe auch 
http://www.soundcloud.com/cyberbeatnix , die sich aber in der Zeit von 
2000 bis 2008 nur mit 8 Konzerten einem raren Konzertpublikum präsentieren. 
Gene Berlins Songs und Klangcollagen überraschen die Hörgewohnheiten und bleiben 
nie den Schemen kontemporärer Song- oder Rhythmusstrukturen verhaftet, und ziehen 
somit unter anderem die Aufmerksamkeit von Andrew Unruh ("Einstürzende Neubauten") 
auf sich, für den er im Rahmen seiner Solokarriere als Produzent tätig wird. 
Im Jahr 2009 gründen Kristina Keller und Gene Berlin aka Herr Krueger das Art-Pop-Duo 
"Frau Keller & Herr Krueger". 
Im Jahr 2010 findet xxx eine Rückbesinnung auf die experimentelle, elektronische 
Experimentalmusik statt, die sich in dem Soundtrack "Finsteres Herz" evolviert. 
Eine Score für die Performances der ( u.a. Bodyart-)Künstlerin Nina Marxen aus Köln. 
Weitere Themen bezogene Tracks folgen. 
Ausserdem ist 2010 das Jahr, in dem er beginnt sein eklektisches Weltbild auch

THE TIDE is the Sound behind the persona of Jacopo Bertacco.
Born in Milan and currently living in Berlin, he is a musician, Yoga instructor and artist open to experimentation and contamination between different languages. 
Since 2000 he has devoted himself to multimedia performances, film soundtracks, and worked with theatre, bands and live performance.
A member of the legendary THE LEAGUE OF CRAFTY GUITARISTS guitar ensemble, since 2007 he has played and performed with ROBERT FRIPP & The League of Crafty Guitarists, touring Europe and North America. 
He collaborates with known artists, musicians, actors, performers making decisive contributions to the realization of various LPs. 
Past and ongoing collaborations include among others: eRRe2, IGE, 1605munro, Riddle, The RobRyan Road Show, The Thrust, “Improvvisi” duo with C.M.Nartoni. 
He has worked as singer-guitarist of experimental rock bands such RIDDLE and TONGS.

Born in Genova,  lives in Zürich. He create frequencies, noises and sound disorders with modular synthesizers. His work is based on sonic accidents, random modulations and unforeseen ground loops.


The modular synthesizer is a type of synthesizer consisting of separate specialized modules connected by wires (patch cords) to create a so-called patch. Every output generates a signal – an electric voltage of variable strength. Combining the signals generated by multiple modules into a common audio output allows a potentially infinite number of configurations, leading to a potentially infinite number of sounds.

Thanks to everyone for listening to my music.
From my humble beginnings back in 1994, I was proud to be a part of the birth of PC based software synthesizers. 
I moved my attention a few years later to a hardware portable music sequencer known as the Yamaha QY70. Within the space of 4 years I had sequenced over 100 full length midi songs.
I knew then as I know now that these songs would not see the light of day unless I expanded on and improved  the originality of the sounds that were generating them in the first place. Many years and dollars later I now sit at the throne of a custom studio set up I built, comprising of 14 very different analog/digital synthesizers and drum machines.
99% of all my songs are live recording from my studio hardware synthesizers and drum machines, a rare voice sample or software synth may appear from time to time.
Very little time is spent post mastering, so what you get is a rough version of what I hear live from my machines, always proving that these wild beasts can be tamed!
All of my songs are uploaded in 32 Bit Wave Format for anyone out there to sample/chop for use in their own tracks, all I ask is a link to your own song.

A lot of noise and dark soundscapes from Germany with an Buchla 200e, an eurorack modular, some really cool Metasonix and Zerosum Inertia tubes stuff, and a bit Ciat Lonbarde gear. During travelling the Teenage Engineering OP1 gets a lot of use, too!
