Coming up next is none other than one of the masters of the acid sound made in Belgium : @Epidemie!

Bitten by the Ghentian acid virus and instinctively attracted by the filthy use of the 303, he starts to produce in 2009. A few years later, his sound already stands out for a powerful hybrid acidcore style, cheerfully flirting with trance, and finds its place on the most renowned imprint of the genre : Obs.cur.

From this follows an exciting decade of live acts & DJ sets over some of the biggest stages and free parties across Europe, shared with an overflowing energy and a contagious passion. A passion that ends up crossing paths with the acid legend Mr Gasmask, with whom he gave birth to the massive hybrid project @Subwayshamans. 

Drawing the best from the oldschool acid vibe and treating it with a modern heavy bass and a progressive sound structure, Epidemie keeps spreading his unique style today through solid collabs and performances. Proof of this with this killer mix - recorded back in March at our event in collab with @2359events in Lyon - gathering some of his favorite acidic tools!

After the fabulous EP he delivered to us for the first release of our label a few months ago, we were obviously looking forward to his contribution to our podcast series… And there he is, taking control of our 22nd episode with an exclusive liveset : @Luche404!

The acid sound, a language that the Nantes-based artist first learned in free party, the theater of his first live sets and creative impulses. Quickly earning his stripes in front of massive sound systems, his music progressively finds its way to clubs and festivals, and meets new aesthetics on its road. Goa trance then comes to broaden his musical spectrum and release his full hybrid potential.

With an ever evolving and epic approach to live performance, his story comes to life where boundaries are abolished. Trance, acidcore, gabber... Luche is constantly exploring and evolving, but one thing is sure : where acid leads him, he takes us with him.
