Weirdship holds its grounds in Tampere, Finland. The band's musical roots are tied to rock, but is heavily influenced by funk, progressive rock, reggae etc.
This questionable orchestra was founded in 2011, but took its current form in summer 2012. As such, Weirdship is ready to conquer all there is to conquer - and even more?
The band is set out to create multifaceted and colourful songs, spiced with mad energy and 60-70's live oriented feel. Also, a contributing factor to the band's creation was frustration with modern day music - as most artists fear to truly stand out. For those who want something fresh, Weirdship might be just that.
