Returning to MTA Records this September, the hotly-tipped Josh Butler delivers a 2 track release of robust House to follow up on his acclaimed 'Got A Feeling' from earlier this year.

With a recent remix of MTA founders, Chase & Status, latest single currently doing damage across dance floors, and a string of key DJ dates which include Secret Garden Party, Gottwood and SubSoul (Ibiza), 'Closer' drops in the midst of a busy summer for the rising Leeds based artist.

'Closer' sees Butler explore a driving house aesthetic built around an infectious groove that stems from on-point drum programming and well balanced sonics. Techy in approach but retaining a melodic edge thanks to a subtly pitched male vocal, 'Closer' is ammunition for DJs across the House spectrum. 

An artist at the forefront House Music's new wave, who already counts Maya Jane Coles, Pete Tong, B.Traits, Annie Mac, Mistajam and Waze & Odyssey as fans, Josh Butler's rise is set to continue.

A rock steady release, aimed squarely at the dance floor, 'Closer' lands late September on MTA Records.

The year has reached its peak! July is already here and our crowds know how much elrow Music loves summer. Just leaving another amazing Off Week behind, we welcome the hottest month of the year with one of our freshest releases so far! As promised, for starting July with good foot, we bring you the second installment of our 'elrow Remixed' series, with yet another three big hits from our back catalogue, remixed by three big players of the scene.

Opening this 'elrow Remixed Vol.2' we have KlangKuenstler hit, 'Pop Dem Bottles' reinterpreted by Detlef himself. 'Pop Dem Bottles (Detlef Remix)' is a groovy, percussive and playful track, that uses the vocal line as main thread to deliver a completely different track from the original, with a character of its own and clearly dancefloor-oriented.

After that, we find a track by a big rising star: Pirupa's 'Wazzup' was one of our crowds favorites and now it gets a proper treatment by one of the most important Spanish-duos of the genre: Chus & Ceballos. Creating a darkish, soft, percussive and danceable track, with minimal touches, Chus & Ceballos' take breaks into real dancefloor madness.

Closing this EP we have a track by of the most interesting teams we've had in our back catalogue so far: the four-way formed by Camelphat and Mat.Joe. Their remarkable 'Bang 2 Drum' is now being reinterpreted by the fast rising Jesse Perez, creating this breakbeats-influenced 'Bang 2 Drum (Jesse Perez's Deep Bang Remix)', a serious, deep, breaky, housy and atmospheric song that breaks completely with the stablished paradigms of tech-house, creating a true beast banger, destined to create some heavy buzz...

Germany’s Juliet Sikora returns to Flashmob this summer with two-track houser, ‘Keep on Fire’.
Sikora, co-founder of the Kittball imprint alongside Tube & Berger, has carved out her reputation by making infectious big-room house cuts for the likes of FFRR, Cajual, Relief and Different over the past fourteen years. A consummate DJ who has toured consistently as well as a force to be reckoned with as an A&R, she has a well tested ear for exactly what works in house music.
Debuting on Flashmob last year with the punchy ‘Beat Bang’ EP, Sikora returns to the influential imprint with another two tracks that focus on bottom heavy grooves with hearty results. The chunky, classic beats of ‘Keep on Fire’ lead the charge with some evergreen vocal sampling providing the arrangement with a worthy crescendo while the flip, ‘Here We Go’, takes a more heads down, rolling route to increasingly intense drops over it’s 7 minute span.

Weiss is most innovative when he’s untethered from the conventions and trends of Dance Music production. Although he embodies the spirit of classic House Music forms like old school Jackin and 90’s era Chicago House, his underlying philosophy is quite simple - construct a beat that taps into the primal and speaks to the universal love of dance shared around the world. Growing up in the UK, Weiss accumulated a diverse range of musical tastes and influences, from Metallica to Motown and Phil Collins to Disco. An apprentice to Massive Attack’s Musical Engineer James Day early in his career, Weiss was able to draw from that deep well of inspiration and expert technical training to produce what would become a trove of instantly recognizable classics and unique, chunky, club rollers. 
Weiss’ initial success as a producer was immediate and profound. His hit single “My Sister”, released in 2013, hit the top of the Beatport Charts and stayed there for four months. Assisted by a generous amount of support from BBC Radio 1, his sounds caught the attention of industry heavyweights like Annie Mac, Groove Armada, Green Velvet, Loco Dice, and Kenny Dope. After several years of successive hit radio singles like his 2016 “You’re Sunshine”, which premiered on Danny Howard’s BBC Radio 1 show and netted a spot at the top of the Beatport charts, Weiss’ profile continued to expand. It wasn’t long before his musical contributions and electrifying performances began to transform the modern House Music landscape. 
Overwhelming support poured in from artists including Gorgon City, Eats Everything, Jax Jones, Duke Dumont, MK and Claude Vonstroke, and through a wildly successful career punctuated by remixes for Kylie Minogue, Robyn, Calvin Harris and Claptone, Weiss has found himself amongst House Music’s elite sharing stages with legends including Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden and Pete Tong. His 2018 single “Feel My Needs”, netted an immense amount of critical acclaim, earned the #1 spot on 5 international music charts, as well as a spot on the Radio 1 A-List and was voted DJ Magazine’s “Best of British Winner” for best single of 2018. 
Weiss is gearing up for an eventful 2019. Following lucrative bookings at Fabric  London and BPM Festival Mexico, he has confirmed over one hundred shows through 2019, including Creamfields, Electric Zoo and key showcases in Ibiza, Miami Music Week, and ADE.
