This mix is dedicated to my friend and dj-colleague Top Notch.
In Dresden he initiated the famous Why Not parties.
There he already played some gems u will hear in this podcast.
He inspired me to play the old 80’s Wave and NDW stuff
mixed with current music of this style in a unique raw way.
These parties had a big impact on my style till today.

Igor Amore grew up in Dresden and was already renting locations with friends at the age of 17 to organize parties. Early attempts at DJing drum & bass evolved into a tech house sound later in 2010 when the Bar 25 sound was a big deal. He switched from Software to Vinyl and a new crew behind his back. He describes throwing outdoor raves with a fuel-powered generator as the happiest time of his life. The reputation then also ensured residencies and that wasn't a bad thing either being in his early twenties. Later, Igor Amore discovered the Disco scene for himself. There were Italo parties, no more than 50 people dancing, in off-locations, combined with this magical sound. 
 
Igor Amore accidentally ended up at a Why Not party and that changed everything. It was at these parties that he first heard Punk, Wave and NDW (80s). From that moment on he knew exactly where he actually belonged with his sound. A few years later he met an aspiring crew in Dresden. In a backyard they built the first Palais Palett, which later functioned as an outdoor area at the second location of the Objekt Klein a property. With this crew they also built the first sun deck at the Fusion Festival. From that point on, Igor Amore was an integral part and a DJ legend. 
 
Fusion Festival, Wilde Möhre and Tarmac Festival are just a few from the list, but whenever you get a chance to see Igor Amore, it´s a no brainer to miss it. We are very pleased to have him on board the Vacanza boat and can't wait to put that radio on repeat!

Ihr Stil ist schnell und süß, immer verfeinert mit einer Prise Humor. Musik ist für ANKA in erster Linie Befreiung und Selbstermächtigung. Beeinflusst von Tanz und Gesang kuratiert sie farbenfrohe und genreübergreifende Sets - es geht darum, die Tanzfläche aufzuheizen und die Leute glücklich zu machen.
