Sirdsapes (Latvian - "heartache") is a hardcore mixture of new-wave acid and grimey techno sounds, alongside with drum-heavy breakbeat rhythms and distorted EBM basslines. "The purest frequency of rebellious punk and underground rave movement".

Philomène Robinne aka Philo proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push boundaries of a genre. Her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid to achieve the best possible sound. A regular on UK lineups, Philo played a slot at Londons legendary Rupture and moved between festivals , such as Fusion or croatian Membrain festival as well as Warning or HÖR in Berlin.
Characteristics of her eclectic selection involve rough UK bass, which is somewhere between breakbeat, 4 to the floor and dubby bassbin jungle but she also doesn’t shy away to do excursions into the realms of progressive house and more techno-inspired gems with a splash of nostalgic 90s sounds according to the maxim " keep moving forward“!

Not long ago she started producing and released on Nice & Deadly, nonesuch, Stereo45, Defrostatica, Hardcore Energy, Basswerk and Miura Records- more to come soon!  In 2021, together with Marie Montexier, AINO and no:elia, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne.  She also hosts her radio show on jungletrain.net monthly on Wednesday from 10:30pm (CET).
