This EP is a return to the past of the artist who began the path to the knowledge of electronic music, many hours in his youth devoted to listening to various styles of house inspired the creation of these tracks, but with the addition of acid lines that are present in almost every Ruksby track with which he tries to form his own style.

RUKSBY BIO

Ruksby (Alexander Klygin) was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, he began to actively engage in music in 2019. He tries himself in different genres, such as: acid, synthwave, electro, techno and others, sometimes these styles are mixed in one composition, and sometimes not. For its 12th release This is not Label presents 'Baltic Trip', EP produced by Samuele De Santis, historical and talented resident dj of This is not Party. The EP is composed by ‘Meza Mackevici', 'Ropazi' and one remix made by the Solenoid Records founder Erta Ale.

Erta Ale has been able to extrapolate the more festive shades of the original track. The whole remix is characterised by a constant groove and acid sounds which, together with an impressive and complex break rhythm, made the day for whom is listening.

This EP is the result of a collaboration between producers DODO (Iddo Charny) and MODJ (Moti Goldzamd) Both emerging from the city's boiling club scene. 

Inspired by early grime and electro sounds, the tracks on the EP are a celebration of tightly coiled drums and heavy weight basslines, Designed for impact on contemporary dance floors.

Imanol is always looking for the groove, he’s a digger and loves to find “new” lost songs. His tracks are played by DJ's of the size of Folamour, Jacques Renault, Rahaan, Javi Frías, among others. At the end of 2017 he edited his EP "Funky Weekend" for the first time on Beatport which climb on place 31st of the funk/disco best 100 rank and he recently mounted his own label “U’re Guay Records” and goes for the seventh release on digital and first on wax. After a decade musicing any encounter, since the last three years the rhythm of presentations has become constant in clubs and parties in Uruguay emerging new opportunities in various countries in the region and beyond.
