On Palm Sunday, Christians remember how Jesus travelled into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, as crowds cheered, shouting phrases that communicated their expectation that Jesus was the king promised in Old Testament scriptures.  Soon, however, their response to Jesus would dramatically change, for he was the long-expected, yet unexpected king.
