Jonny Craig - Aperture (WEMMS Project Remix)

CHRIS GATE is a German Composer & Producer and works since 1996 with focus on Electronic Music. He is also part of the VORTEX ELEMENTS Project.

HISTORY: First he started with the Collaboration-Project NOISE CONSTRUCTION in 1996 and got the chance to release two tracks in 1998 on Millennium-Storm Records (Hannover/Germany) and its first Techno-Trance Sampler. But unfortunately the distribution of the disc failed and the label decided to discontinue its work. 
To get some new experience, a partnership of NOISE CONSTRUCTION with CJ MILLER as an upcoming DJ was a nice chance to get a new focus on straight Club sounds. 
The work of Noise Construction was discontinued at the beginning of 1999 and CHRIS GATE began to focus on his Solo-Project.
In 2003 he founded the collaboration project VORTEX ELEMENTS together with Sonic Chain, which can be discovered on Soundcloud. After some years his musical view changed from Club & Trance-Style to more classical Electronic Music Style.
During the time, he did some REMIXES for SNAP & BLANK & JONES (Remix-contests) and some of his own tracks as well.
Actually it´s the intention of CHRIS GATE to get some new Contacts , to improve the musical artwork and getting in contact with people who like his tracks.

Originally from Ballycastle in Northern Ireland now living in Port Talbot, South Wales. 

I was introduced to Cubase GS in 95 while on my first music tech course with Access to Music in Leicester and was lucky enough to have had my work placement in their 16 Track digital studio using a pair of sync'd Tascam DA88's. 

After a few years of Theatre and touring I decided to gain a formal qualification in music tech by applying for the Creative Music Technology BA Hons at Sheffleld Uni (Barnsley College) and cut my teeth in Pro Tools and the digital desk Mackie d8b.

I recently moved on from using Reason and Cubase to Ableton, its awesome and learning new tricks everyday!!

My preferred genres for now are: Trance, Hard House, Hard Trance but I have an open mind and will give anything a go..

WEMMS Project is a community of two guys from Recklinghausen - Germany. Born in Recklinghausen, and still live there. Muamer and Mike works together for several years on the same music level. They know each together from childhood. Ever since then they do a lot of mischief, maybe is that the reason for they perfect music communication among themselves.
