It was a Saturday at 4 pm, the sun was shining on the island and people were shining too - happy, no worries in sight, just enjoying life. Some people were even dancing in the water. Friends dancing in the back and up front, while Cookie whipped up some mouthwatering cocktails – it was an all-around beautiful scene, a perfect afternoon.

Thanks to all the sweet people who made that possible.

We will carry that sunny afternoon for a looong time in our hearts. 🧡🧡

I was really delighted to play at an open-air event again at the end of September. And on top of that, it was one of our own events, held on our own premises. I am very proud to present to you the very first (official) set from woodlands Kulturgarten. As always, we start off very smoothly and gradually transition into a more lively and rhythmic vibe, all while enjoying a freshly poured wheat beer☀️🍺.

A diverse mix featuring artists like Fettes Brot, Hall & Oates, Überhaupt & Außerdem, Purple Disco Machine, Super Flu and Mac Miller.

Deer Friends... 

My intention was to share this live set (this is the first time I’m posting a full live set of mine), that was dedicated to my mother, “Tsvia”, which means "deer" in Hebrew. I wanted to tell so many stories, about my relationship with Maxa, my mother, Burning Man 2023 & more. 
However the events of this week were a big twist in the plot. 

I went back and forth about posting this set at this time, maybe hoping to share it on a more positive note... And then at the same time especially now, if I can borrow your ears and maybe your heart for a couple hours,  take you away from craziness of this world and back to the dusty Playa. Then let that be my mission in these unprecedented times...

One of the top DJ names in Hong Kong, male or female, Wendy Wenn brings the party and great vibe to any event. Small in stature but carries a wallop of sound, DJ Wendy Wenn continues to add her signature crispy tech-y sets to the ever growing underground in the city. She is both DJ crew and co-founder of the upfront club brands such as FoxTrot, a female line-up that bang out fine techno/house choons. She’s also the ‘small’ in the cheeky titled Small & Tall club nights. From gritty underground clubs like Bassment to the high-end member spot Kee Club and everything else in-between, Wendy Wenn always brings her love of music to the show and keeps punters dancing and partying all night long. 

DJing has taken her around Asia, from Japan, Thailand, China, Ghongzhou, and Beijing; and also Berlin. Wendy Wenn has been part of the Hong Kong club scene since the late-90s and played at most of the best clubs of the time. The DJ fine tuned her technique and became one of the foremost residents at the legendary Yumla before it closed in 2011. Wendy Wenn plays stand-alone sets as well as supporting the likes of Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Efdemin, James What, Marc Miroir, Luke Hess, Lee Burridge, Martin Eyerer, Tom Clark, Jonas Kopp, Charles Siegling (Technasia), Phillip Jung (M.A.N.D.Y.), H.O.S.H, Nils Nilson, Kasierdisco , Frank Monoroom, Marko Furstenberg, Fredrik Borgesius (Global Underground).

One of the most popular and technically sound DJs in Hong Kong, Wendy Wenn first caught the electronic bug during the heady days of the late-90s. Fascinated by the myriad roller discos that existed back then she began to lose herself in the funk and rhythm of the winding melodies and bass lines and her path was irrevocably set; Wenn quickly invested in a trusty pair of Technics and a mixer and began scouring the record shops in town to track down all things house and breaks as the new century raced ahead and the local clubbing scene began to grow and evolve.

Always on the cusp of the future sound, Wenn has since created a unique, under-stated style that sits somewhere between chilled down tempo and deep, dark bass – focusing more recently on the burgeoning sounds of minimal techno and tech-house that have oozed out of Europe and the States. She has taken the intricate sounds that have infected a whole generation of DJs, producers and clubbers in Asia and formed her own style - both in the club and in the studio.
