"Darkon" named after the sub atomic particle given to 'darkness', by Norwegian scientists M. Michael Brady and Donald R. Curran who did underground experiments in the 70's, to interpret the nature of electro magnetic phenomena to explain the fundamentals of Light. They published their Theory Of Light/Theory of Darkon on the Norwegian scientific journal in 1970.

DARKON RECORDINGS was brought to existence in 2017 by Ibrahim Shifan aka SEFFRON as an independant Collective envisioned to build an Underworld for the auditory seekers of the alternative sides of Experimental Active Meditation (psytrance) and deep listening experience (dark ambient). 
Stationed and piloting from the Island country of Maldives. Darkon features talents from around the globe showcasing two sides of the musical genres. "Dark Progressive Psytrance" and "Experimental Dark Ambient Drone" music. 

Deep and intelligent, engaging and gloomy; our platform proudly showcases our experimental side, "The Dark Ambient", with a roster of wizards making potions that is designed particularly for deep meditation. 
Futuristic, murky, swampy and architectural; Darkon proudly features our "Psytrance" with sorcerers from different parts of the world, for your active meditation on dancefloors and home settings. Driven by influences of darkprog, zenonesque, psygressive to forest, our psytrance portal is created for pure night-time psychedelic explorations!
