Release Info: 
French label and celebrated festival crew Family Piknik are back with another vital release which features two new remixes of its 2018’s official anthem ‘KEYS OF GODS’ by TIME. Remixes come from legendary techno tastemaker MARC ROMBOY and French talent PONTIAS, who has been heavily supported by H.O.S.H. 

Systematic’s boss MARC ROMBOY goes first and flips the track into a scintillating bit of bouncing techno. His exquisite chords light up the grooves while big drums pound below. It’s the sort of trance inducing track to really lock in the crowd and take them into the cosmos. After his massive remix for John Digweed on Bedrock, the German legend showcases here his love for analog resyncussions. 

PONTIAS (also formerly known under his Bloody Shelby moniker) then flips it into a deeper cut, with melancholic chords laid over the rolling drums. It’s a late night and moody track that has bright, distant pads lighting up the airwaves and you can see this one really getting people into the groove. 

This is another epic EP from the Family Piknik crew as this year’s huge festival season gets ever close.

The Eclipse is a straight up banger with Enoo’s now infamous Afro Tech soundscape. Cutting snare, driving cymbals, hand claps to die for topped off by a nasty whirling  heavyweight synth.

On remix duty label boss Cory Centric takes the original and makes it into a tech house stomper adding driving base, hard hitting kick, and some handy rising synth work .

To top the package of we welcome back Japan’s Dazzle Drums they make subtle changes to the original to start with then take the listener on a journey with slamming wood block and a driving modulated synth 


Siphiwe Mkhize known as Enoo Napa on the underground music scene was born in the township of Umlazi, Durban in KwaZulu Natal. Enoo Napa has been doing music production for a little of 6 years now and his music is prominent in the sets of South African, legendary Dj Black Coffee as well as many music great worldwide. The self taught, Afro house producer, who was #17 on the Traxsource Top 100 Afro House producers in 2016 has done stella work on his ambient, dark afro sound with a hint of techy synths, since gaining traction in 2013 after beautifully crafting a remix of Conqueror (Enoo Napa Opaque Mix) by Jackie Queens, played by many top Djs around the world. Both songs, including High In Your Love (Original Mix) featuring Zipho made their way on to top compilations in South Africa, Mmthis Essential 7 mixed by legendary Dj Tokzen and Dj Mbuso's - Phezulu selection vol 4 which featured 2 songs from the artist back in 2016. A collaboration with Dj Shimza, on a song titled Uprising on Shimza's One Man Show Ep, was released in 2016 on Soulistic Music Records. Enoo Napa has gone on to do remixes for Black Coffee, N'dinga Gaba, Mi Casa, Oscar P, King Sfiso, Dj Merlon and continues to put out heavy, raw afro, electronic infused cuts on various well recognised international labels.

GNTN and Artche, hailing from Germany and the UK respectively, have both been bubbling up in the world of European techno for the past few years, collaborating most recently for an EP on Einmusika and individually releasing on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Suara, and Terminal M. Their debut EP for Yoshitoshi, Plastic Paranoia, brings together the dark, melodic sounds they are known for and incorporates elements of techno and deep house to create a swirling mesh of exhilarating sonic textures. The title track shines with its gorgeous vocal, proving that vocals and techno are not mutually exclusive. It possesses an absolutely stunning breakdown that is sure to have crowds singing along, and builds into a sweltering groove to keep feet moving. Expressions is all instrumental, interweaving a series of gorgeous synth melodies and pads that coalesce in an atmospheric and elaborate soundscape. It's a master class in maximalist production, each element shining through the multitude of layers happening at any given time. To finish things off, Spaniard Aaryon, who is no stranger to the label, gives us a deep, leftfield remix that showcases his propensity for abstract sound design. It's a subtle take on the original, but Aaryon gives it enough flavor that it feels fresh and unique. Altogether, the package displays a variety of stellar music that feels perfectly at home in the Yoshitoshi catalogue.
