AfroZone gives us another fantastic pearl called "Five Moons" composed of 2 very different Afro house tracks, but equally deadly.
'Five Moons' has a pressing percussive groove wrapped in a warm bass and electronic synths that build a suggestive atmosphere further excited by their constant evolution.
'Orion' has a very sharp groove and a more deep tech setting. Synths are very powerful and effective on the track. The more electronic setting blends perfectly with the Afro root of the release and the structure of this track. A release not to be missed!

Known to many as the godfather of the Afro Tech sound, Afrocentric Records welcomes Benny T to the label.

Benny T, also known as Benedict Mabe, is a very prominent name which has been linked with dance floor blasting electronic music bangers for the past few years. Hailing from Kanye , a village in Botswana, now residing in the capital city Gaborone , is the mastermind himself who has a brand new two tracker EP comprising of tracks Trailblazer and Lebowa, which both resemble the new
dimension of the underground Afrotech era. 

The most anticipated release is called “Trailblazer EP” and it’s surely nothing short of marvel more especially for those who follow techno/tech fused with African beats. This wonderful piece of work, carefully crafted and coated with a touch of his distinctive sound.
Supporting Trailblazer is Lebowa, delightful twinkling keys built around thundering claps and haunting insistent synths make this track a potential lead track in its own right .

What happens when two heavyweights of the Afro house scene collaborate. Candy Man & Jim Mastershine need no introduction having released on all the top labels in the Afro House Genre, both recognized for their unique production style, they band together and bless Afrocentric Records with the ﬁrst of 2 eps. 
Excellent the lead track from this release sounds exactly like the name says. Subtle synth build around hollow strings and a rumbling bass line , add to this an innovative use of the bike sound and you have an excellent mix of the best sounds which make ups the bedrock of the Afro Tech sound. 
Evil Laugh is built around just that an Evil Laugh sample with the addition of intricate drum programming and a beautiful orchestral breakdown make this a nice piece of afro tech perfect for warming up the crowd.

Drega takes his remix into Afro Tech town with swelling synths a dramatic build-up, keeping the listener on the edge of their seat.
