San Francisco’s Manjumasi makes its first foray into wax with the vinyl-only release of History Ate Itself by San Francisco producer and label alumnus R. Fentz. First up on the A-side is the title track - a complex and textured piece, full of intricate percussion and sonic detail. The track evokes a sense of journey, with synth pads building and working through stages of crescendo and release. A percussive, punchy bassline holds steady throughout, giving a sense of time pushing ever-forwards.

Next up on the AA is Glitter, a more light-hearted number with a friendly and inquisitive disposition. As a counterpoint to the urgency and insistence of History, here R. Fentz uses delicate, gentle touches to create an inviting, warm atmosphere. The bubbly groove has a delightfully playful bounce that washes over the listener, with sparkling synth details float over the silky groove as the track works its way forward.

On the flip side, Ukrainian producer Silat Beksi takes on remix duties and delivers a supremely heady and tasteful reworking of Glitter. His version builds a soft bed of pads over a punchy groove. A very tasty dub-filtered synth groove slowly works its way into the mix. The result is a complex and organic sonic tapestry with no shortage of sparkle and shine, but plenty of subterranean depth. Yet another extremely solid offering in this sought-after producer’s vinyl-only catalog.

And I was very surprised how it could even be combined ?!
And I decided to put this vision on canvas , as a result I had a picture:

A1. The EP starts off with the title track "BBANGBGBANF" .  Its little story about Bad Boys , Bad Boys Are Not Good But Good Boy Are Not Fun , this track packed with evolving guitar melodies , male whispers and with dark groove that will get the floor going .

A2. This second track "Tears of Lust" the track is gaining momentum as if a tear is rolling , is sounding exactly like that - a quiet solitary place during a storm and sounds guitar , you are upset after a break your relationship , but you must control yourself and live on !
And after a long guitar like after a rain , a confident strong groove appears as if a ray of light in the sky and you step confident  .

Cali Lanauze's Opulence label comes correct with the first in a new series of compilations called Sensory. Volume 1 brings together a red hot selection of talents from around the world, with slick house and techno in many forms all represented. 

Those contributing include the boss himself plus Chicago legend DJ Sneak, Detroit's Ryan Crosson, French house giant DJ W!ld, Germany's Andre Buljat, Italian born minimalist Cesare vs Disorder, Peruvian duo Deaf Pillow and cult Romanian Kozo.

It is he who goes first with See A Man About A Horse, a woozy and deep cut filled with gorgeous pads. The prolific and game changing DJ W!ld then offers a more driving cut, with metallic drums and smooth loops getting deep into your psyche. The boss's own SixFourtyTwo is a dreamy and pad laced deep house classic, then DJ Sneak comes on strong with his fluttering percussion, deep rooted Chicago drums and sci-fi effects to get you in the groove. 

Cesare vs Disorder - Aquele Dia Na Piscina is a more tripped out and synthetic cut with woozy pads and crisp kick drums powering things along, before the stripped back afterparty vibe continues with the edgy and eerie Change Your Mind from Ryan Crosson, which has corrugated drums and drilling bass. Deaf Pillow keep you locked with the ghoulish voices and rugged synths of their Devil's Head, a paranoid cut with an unsettling atmosphere, and Andre Buljat's Telescope rounds things out with the futuristic synth patterns and roaming drums of deep techno roller Telescope. 

This is an excellent eight track overview of the brilliantly broad Opulence sound and is jam packed with essential cuts.

Brought together by good friends Madcimiliano @madcimiliano & Ian Cahill @iancahillmusic , “madian” has been smoothly rising through the local scene of Puerto Rico since it’s debut in 2016. After three years of DJing back to back they decided to get in the studio to produce and released their first single “Domino” on Mexico’s XOOD Records. Now, months into their first release they have already started working on their self-titled EP, “madian” and have released one remix, Leandro Garcia - “Remind” (madian Remix) on Digital Den Records & an edit of a famous Rubén Blades - “GBDB” freestyle (previously remixed by the infamous Ricardo Villalobos) which they named “Disnilandia” (madian edit) released on Bacteria Record’s. With the desire to create boundless music, with funky alien grooves and a happy futuristic feel to it, Madcimiliano & Ian Cahill ultimately objectified their goal by bringing into existence madian. 

Combining their styles and backgrounds (Madcimiliano as a DJ, Producer & Art Director and Cahill as a DJ, Producer, & Engineer) with passion and friendship, both artists have upgraded their development to a full-grown level and are now a dynamic duo inside and outside the studio. Each with his own credentials as DJs serving as support acts to well known artists such as Bedouin, Satori, and Priku (Madcimiliano); Fur Coat, Chus & Ceballos, and Neverdogs (Ian Cahill); Tara Brooks, Subfreq, Kora, and Sepp (madian), they now look to take over as artists of their own caliber. With dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for musical growth combined with the knowledge and experience to create sharp musical productions and enticing art work, these two creative minds are a tour de force looking to expand their horizon way beyond the imaginable.
