Couronne de Merde is a french musician, violin player and weird screamer. His music explores existential torment and doubt through brutal and emotional discharges, industrial sounds or sacred soundscapes, trying to create a personal path to the unlimited expression of introspection. 

Somehow influenced by Dominick Fernow’s universe, Couronne de Merde  is a gentle violence that abandons itself in a certain melancholy, like a grey mirage, mirroring an inner pain and anger.

"Many roads lead to suffering, but all of them lead to you" is dedicated to and inspired by the numerous victims of the conflicts which have swept through the middle east and the occupied Palestinian territories for decades. 

As usual with this type of politically-oriented release, all the money obtained will be reversed to an association linked with the thematic of the project. This time, all the funds will be transferred to Al Kamandjâti :

"Al Kamandjâti exists to teach music to Palestinian children, especially those in marginalized areas and to make music accessible to the entire Palestinian community, strengthening their appreciation of Palestinian identity, as well as of other Arab and international cultures."

Mannequin Records is proud to announce the release of the Miami 80's synth/goth heroes Life in Sodom, with the repress of their rare first 12'' single "The Stains". This extended edition includes a bonus track - 'Phantasmagoria'- and a friendly dancefloor cut of the title-track by the label head Alessandro Adriani. 

Conceived by vocalist Gerrie Brand, the band was starting out as performance art, and quickly became more as Gerrie surrounded himself with some of the best musicians from the club and art scene in South Florida, including our dear Mystic Bill, who was playing the guitar with the band in the early stages.

Originally self-released in 1991, the single "The Stains" became an underground club hit and charted on many college radio stations, in both the extended and the original version. The single was distributed as a hard to get promo only release. The repress contains also the title-track of the single “Phantasmagoria" - another cult tune for early 90's goth djs - originally released in 1992. Mega tip!

Autumns is the solo project of Christian Donaghey, From Derry, Ireland, an outlet for electronic post-punk with a lethal pulse. After a brace of rough demos without preliminary hype, the project emerged fully formed on Karl O’Connor’s (aka Regis) illustrious label Downwards back in 2014, the youngest act in a new vanguard of artists that included the likes of Tropic of Cancer, DVA DAMAS and The Kvb. 

Preceding releases for Clan Destine Records, iDEAL Recordings and DKA Records have seen the project engaged in a rough trade of transgressive noise, dysfunctional metal dance and DIY punk angst, yet each of these milestones has represented a different proposition. 2016’s ‘A Product of 30 Years of Violence’ saw the project moving into vast glacial spaces after propulsive post-punk discord of 2015’s ‘Das Nichts’. 2017 presented a further progression into Autumns’ journey from his post-punk beginnings to producing some of the tautest and no bullshite electronic music around with the release of his debut album ‘Suffocating Brothers’ on Clan Destine Records. Gaining radio play from selectors like Trevor Jackson, Regis, Debonair and Giant Swan.

Alongside progressive appearances on cult labels the project has developed a notorious high-intensity live show, having played and toured with artists such as Silent Servant, Veronica Vasicka and Wire, performing to audiences from Los Angeles to Beirut, and Moscow to Berlin. Autumns’ has also ventured outside the typical music world by taking up projects such as performing alongside Samuel Kerridge at the 2016 edition of Paris Fashion Week for Downwards, creating a sound installation at Void Gallery, and improvising a desolate live score to David Lynch’s ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me’. Earning Autumns a fierce reputation not only as a live act, but as a multi-disciplinary artist.

Following contributions to labels such as Amok Tapes, Touch Sensitive, Veyl (Maenad Veyl) and Earwiggle (Sunil Sharpe), as well as remixes for Strange Therapy, Infidel Bodies, and Clan Destine Records. 2019 see’s Autumns' experimentation in the studio go much deeper, with the release of his sophomore album ‘Shortly After Nothing’ on Oliver Ho’s (aka Broken English Club) innovative ‘Death & Leisure’ label, alongside a heavy touring schedule, a collaboration with post-punk legend Eric Random, the launch of his radio show ‘Dyslexia Tracks’ on Dublin Digital Radio and more upcoming releases to surface throughout the year.

Influenced by Severed Heads, Garry Bradbury, and Skeptics, the band members Dom Krsic & Frank Sumatra team up to create an acerbic marriage of energized lush melodies blending synth-pop with industrial/post-punk disciplines. Their curious tape loops and industrial noises melts together with clanking drum machine rhythms, surging body grooves and distorted synthesizer melodies. The result is a Psychotic FM Synth Symphony where the Croatian artist slowed-down, sped-up, reversed, and decontextualized his music into a timeless deranged cacophony of samples and percussions.

Hello sisters and brothers! Here you have the first Creatures of the Night session of 2020 at Radio Relativa,, with a very special and favourite guest from Athens, Devika! I have been listening to her sets for many years and her dark out-worldly sounds always make me feel like I am having the experience of being in a sci-fi movie. The variety of rhythms and experimental elements that characterises the selections of her sets combined with her mixing skills makes them a pure bliss for the ears. She holds residencies at Pi Electronics' events and Healthy Summer. In the today's COTN she delivers a varied, trippy, full of experimetal tracks session for the 2nd hour of the show and the first hour is mixed by me. Thank you Devika for the music! Neophyte, for sure, and these are all my newly found treasures, that I have dug up from around the world.
