Producer for Lily White and Trigo, Keystate & "Free Dream & the Movie" Wes Meyer's love for music stems from his early teenage years when he used to make tape recordings of his favorite radio shows. He would share these mix-tapes among his friends & soon became known for his distinct collection of music. This process acted as the stepping stone for Wes to start Dj’ing at house parties and school discos at the age of 16. A few years later he started producing his own music. His love for electronic dance, house and techno was inspired by the band Leftfield and the late 90's rave scene. In early 2000 he moved to London to experience the diverse music scene that was on offer. Having lived there for six years, Wes was able to fully engage and experience the various sub-cultures within the scene. During this time he also studied Electronic Music Production & Sound Engineering at the world renowned SAE college. While studying he supported himself through Dj'ing & playing live performances in underground venues and clubs across the city, and soon started his own nights under the label X&O. Returning to South Africa in  2009, he set up his own custom studio in Randburg. Wes continues his multi talented composition and production skills, working with a selection of top-tier artists from a wide range of genres. His music will soon be heard across the airwaves. With a new intensified focus on production, this is a new phase in this talented producers' career, and we are bound to see his work showing up both in local and international charts in the very near future.

Keystate is the lovechild of DJ Lloyd & Wes Meyer combined with a passion for Electronic Dance Music. 
Teaming up with Lily White, RubyGold & Smanga on vocals the lyrics and bass lines are set to move the listener on any platform.
Keystate are making a really good name for themselves in a short space of time. Their main Label being Alltum (Holland) and support coming from heavyweights like Roger Shah,Cosmic Gate & York is clear to see that they are creating credible originals and remixes.
Musically their aim has been to keep their music organic and natural (Classic), with this methodology applied in all their music across various genres they have achieved exactly that. Their main focus being Deep House, House and Progressive House.
Lloyd & Wessel combined their experience in the industry which accumulates to over 30 years. It's easy to understand why they are moving so fast in the European market in no time.
