Bogmired - Shame

The Arecibo Message was recorded over the span of two months.  We decided we wanted to see if we could record a "one-take" record and here it is.  Each song is a single take completely improvised after hitting record.  Although some of the songs lasted over 20 minutes what you hear here are sections of those tracks with fading being the only bits added in the studio.  We hope you enjoy the album as much as we enjoyed making it.

2003.  In my role as agent provocateur on alt.noise I posted this track.  People had been bashing rap in that group - getting pretty ugly about it.  So I made a track of power-electronics with some harsh ODB clips from a Wu-Tang Clan album.  Called it Wu-Haus (Wu-Tang meets Whitehouse).  Got a bunch of noise-rock-stars to speculate about its origins - that it was a collaboration between some mysterious noise musician and a rapper.  I made it with a $10 voice-changer and a grunge-pedal.
