Dooney B is a local recording artist, producer, engineer and songwriter from the Broward County area. He was born November 14th, 1996 in Miami, Fl, but shortly moved to Fort Lauderdale just a few years after his birth. As a child, Christopher (Dooney B) Johnson was heavily influenced by the sounds of percussion instruments. Wanting to join his brother (Jahvon "J$" Hampton) in the schools drumline, Dooney soon took interest in pursuing a career as a percussionist, but was turned down because of his grade being below the schools requirement. There, he was forced to learn the violin, leading him to learn more and more instruments, such as the piano. He later attended middle school for the performing arts where he acquired his ability to read sheet music and joined the jazz band. This is where he gets his groovy, funky, and unorthodox sound of music. During this period of time, one of his band mates challenged him to learn Busta Rhymes' "Look at me now". The next day, Chris stunned his peers with an intricate replication of the entire song, exposing his wicked flow and sound to all who was willing to listen. He later started writing his own material, giving him the motivation to study the art of audio production. For countless amounts of hours, he would practice making beats and recording vocals on a laptop that his mom acquired from a yard sale. He has since then developed a home studio that would be known as the headquarters for his music production. He would work with numerous artists within the Tri County area where he would gain cliental and business associates. His Goal is to supply the masses with what he feels like would be considered one of the biggest WAVs. the game has ever seen.
