I started my musical life as a Bass Guitar player, and spent several years using that skill to pay my bills.  I realized along the way, that what makes me a good bass player is my ability to compose.
So now I have been finding joy in composing electronic music!  And you might hear a little of my bass playing in there too!
I am currently working with an indie video game studio, making all music and sounds for their games.  And I am looking for other composition work in the video game industry as well.

Tyler Kreigler works a day job as a super hero in the city of Cubicle Hell. Armed with a degree in Philosophy he spends his day doing absolutely nothing related to his field of study. However, by night (and some evenings) he becomes An Hobbes-emcee extraordinaire, cosmonaut, philosopher and all around nerdy everyman who makes love to your ears with his quick lipped rhymes.

Chipocrite, a.k.a. Paul Weinstein, uses original Nintendo Game Boys, often accompanied by bass, guitar and/or other lo-fi sequencers, to create complex audio masterpieces. His multifaceted but catchy compositions combine the nostalgic game sounds of his childhood with modern music influences.

Since emerging from the Philadelphia chip scene just a few years ago, Chipocrite has taken the stage at numerous performance spaces, events and conventions, including the Vans Warped Tour, Blip Festival, MAGFest and AnimeNEXT; provided soundtracks for commercials — including a nationally televised GameStop ad — as well as video games and online videos; released "Hit and Run", which was named “Best Album – Chiptune” in Square Enix Music Online's Annual Game Music Awards for 2011; appeared as the musical guest on popular tech-centric Web talk-show series “On The Verge” — and much more.
