Gigi Sohn is a long-time public interest lawyer who spent the last 20 years advocating for policies that ensure that modern communications networks are robust, affordable and available to everyone.  She also served as Counselor to former FCC Chair Tom Wheeler and was nominated twice by President Biden to occupy the 5th seat on the FCC.  However, after 3 brutal Senate hearings, she withdrew her nomination.  In this interview, she gives her take on where we stand in this country with regard to Internet connectivity, federal oversight of the Internet, pay to play politics, monopoly control, and directions for the future.

Louisville falls into a category where most are rented due to certain characteristics that make Louisville different from cities such as Nashville or Atlanta.  In many cities, large corporations can own a substantial portion of the local housing stock.
