Dela Nesto is an emerging artist based in Berlin who puts the power in the genre powerhouse. Dela Nesto appeared with his underground music at venues as famous as KitKat for Gegen, Katerblau, About Blank, Schwuz and Refuge WorldWide. Their driving and emotionalizing sets are genrefluid creating an atmosphere of belonging and loving. Dela Nesto is writting their love story on the dance floor. Blending in bouncy, chunky house music and building bridges to Disco and even Techno with a twist of queer anthems and nostalgia.

I had the pleasure of playing a closing set at komod-festival at the lovely stage of amorosa. It turned out to be a sweet journey through all the genres I adore right now. Starting of housey, continuing with acid and electro and finishing of with some ukish garage, bass and cheesy breaks as usual. First mix I upload after nearly a year even though it’s not the cleanest and I had some struggles with the invisible limiter. Hope you guys still enjoy it. Made for the evenings before and the mornings after. <3

Chora is a DJ from Zurich whose sets drift between styles, moods, and energies – sometimes soft, sometimes intense, sometimes introspective, sometimes euphoric. Her name comes from a concept of the “in-between”: open, undefined, and always in motion – much like her approach to music. 

Over the years, she has explored many different sounds – not all perfect, but each one shaping her musical voice. These days, she feels most at home in dubstep, 2-step, bass, breakbeats, and trance, especially where the music shimmers and pushes forward.

Alongside her solo sets, she’s also part of two collaborative projects with close friends: Synkope and Clits with Sticks. Both grew out of deep friendships and a shared passion, andhave taken her to beloved venues across Switzerland and beyond – in earlier days still under the name Tsali.

What a Playground is a platform run by @lenabrecht aiming to feature emerging artists who share her passion for various facets of House music. A space of warm tunes, soft vibes, energetic melodies and new encounters. 

What a Playground aims to create an open and safer space for especially FLINTA* and BIPoC artists, encouraging them to play first sets to an appreciative, curious and diverse crowd. Curating DIY gatherings since summer 2022, the format is not only about creating pleasure and joy, but also about caring for each other. During each gathering we invite everybody to support a trusted organization whose work helps underrepresented people.

Here on SoundCloud sets from our community will be shared. Furthermore, this accounts aims to push the visibility of FLINTA* and BIPoC producers/artists.

What a Playground was co-initiated by @josi_ane who's focussing on different projects since August 2024. Thanks for sharing your energy, time and passion with us.
