DXRKSPIRAL (pronounced Dark‑spiral) is the musical project of Mexican producer Kevin Mata, a sonic exploration that dives far beneath the surface into the depths of the self. Blending psytech, techno, psytrance, and minimal over more than six years of production, he crafts hypnotic soundscapes for introspective listeners.

The name DXRKSPIRAL draws on the spiral symbol—long associated with life and its cycles—to suggest that dark or traumatic experiences also carry valuable lessons, capable of transforming into beauty and growth. Rather than shunning the shadows, DXRKSPIRAL embraces them as an essential part of the spiritual journey.

Releases on Dark Synth Recordings and Soliq Records, plus guest mixes for Tiefdruck, Plazma Records, and Music4Aliens, have marked his path through the underground scene. He has opened for acts such as Cosmic Energy, Durs, Who Knows, Alterlize, Olinka and Almost Famous, solidifying a reputation built on authenticity.

DXRKSPIRAL is more than music; it is a life philosophy that finds light in darkness and turns pain into art.
