A meditation on two archival recordings, 'Zulu's Ball' by King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band in 1923, and a 1948 interview with Helen Keller and her assistant Polly Thompson by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Peter McGregor on the occasion of Keller's 1948 tour of Australia.  Also features a recording from around 1976 of Clara Rockmore playing Tchaikovsky's 'Valse Sentimentale' on the theremin, an instrument played without touch. Tony Baldwin as narrator.

Two stories: one turns dating into a video game, and the other is about a young girls' preoccupation with a big prawn. "Call of Dating" was originally produced for CBC's Wiretap by Mira Burt-Wintonick and Cristal Duhaime. And "The Big Prawn" was originally produced for Paper Radio, written and performed by Katia Pase, with sound design by Jon Tjhia.

Ray Godbold is a palliative care nurse faced with terminal cancer – but he doesn’t want to die in palliative care.

Ray knows what some doctors prefer not to admit. He knows that, even in palliative care, not everything can be taken care of; that a patient’s choices about how they die are very limited; and that, sometimes, their dying involves a wildness nobody can predict.

What Ray doesn’t know is that his own death will turn out to be everything he was hoping that he and his family would be spared.
