Written April 2012. The chorus for this has been an idea in my head for years - the verses took ages to finish as I wanted the lyrics to be as strong as I could manage. The first version I uploaded was, I think, far too long and had a kind of hat-stand introduction that really belonged in another song. What I've ended up with now, which is much shorter, hopefully doesn't stretch it too far - it's basically a simple song about the tension between adjusting-to and kicking-against breakup. Maybe the arrangement is still a bit much.

The picture is derived from a painting called 'The Iles d'Or' by Henri-Edmond Cross (public domain).

24 Jan 13: Replaced with the shorter arrangement - and changed the picture.

This Track I recorded Ensemble of The Strings with guitars and added instruments to give this piece a backdrop of Colour with a harmonious relationship with the Cello & The Viola, these instruments gel together giving dimension and depth to this Piece.
