Blending ethnically charged groove structures with beautifully warped and spaced-out melodics, ‘Road’ is an eclectic tour de force of intricate drum and synth work that transports a captivating hypnotism. ‘Kassamba’ opens Road with brightly flickering saws and eerie, far-away atmospheres—tearing discharges of sinister melodics that bloom across a darkly rolling sub-structure.
