Future Romance starts off with „Reboot“ a new single by the labelboss himself showcasing once again his ability to build up a track like no other and combine extensive melodies with big basslines & clever invented synth-work. As remixers for this promising debut release we could win no less than one of the greatest icons of melodic techno worldwide ´Recondite´ (wellknown for his releases on labels like Afterlife or Innervisions) and italian master of organic deep and emotional house sound ´Lehar´, member of the Diynamic family and owner of the ´Multinotes´record label together with Musumeci and Olderic.

Life is full of mysteries, and many of them cannot be explained.

Through the union of Techno with Melodic and Progressive tones, it is possible to create unexpected combinations and bring up hidden stories, which reveal the flow of synchronicity present in the universe. 

Here is “Enlightenment”, VTOPIΛ’s first VA that explores the many layers of Electronic music.

At each release, 7 invited artists present their works inspired by the Univers around us. For this release, Joseph Carlo, Apo Tulup, 2088, Prove Them Wrong & Groovetique, Jacme, Sascha Trimpe & Animum sign productions in which they develop their own techno imprint. The practical understanding of this VA reveals to us the effortless concentration method, which allows us to transform dreams into reality, melody into rhythm. 

Therefore, “Enlightenment” symbolizes the fusion between theory and practice, the verb in action, the universe itself.

PREMIERE: Joseph Carlo - Requiem For A Dream [VTOPIΛ]

Rounding out the release are Utopia' and Open Your Mind' which finds Minders delivering two more peak time bangers. The former delights with its crunchy design, undulating groove and clever cosmic storyboarding. Sitting as an ideal complement to its predecessor, playful chord stabs, emotive arps and a forest of detailed percussion precedes a dramatic break, where ghostly vocal choirs take centerstage as a rush of beats ushers in a sizzling finale. Meanwhile, Open Your Mind' finds Minders collaborating with fellow countryman AO for a heads down journey to cap off the release. The trio marry growling stabs with fiery percussion and buoyant grooves for an energetic romp of intergalactic proportions. A spoken word vocal narrative highlights the main break, bringing reflection and hope against a backdrop of poignant pads, eventually getting washed away in a trail of punishing beats. It rounds out an excellent artist showcase from Minders who return to Movement Recordings in a big way. Highly recommended.

Bondage-Music head honchos Pornbugs prep the labels next release for early April comprising three original tracks and a remix from Mihai Popoviciu. Since 2006, German duo Pornbugs have been pushing their minimal yet ambitious dance floor orientated house music through clubs across the globe, with their label Bondage-Music acting as a catalyst for forward thinking music. Bondage-Music also works as an outlet for other talented producers including Romania’s Mihai Popoviciu and inmotion music signee Markus Homm to further develop their sound. Fresh from a string of early 2017 digital releases from Frink and Sous Sol, April sees Bondage-Music’s first vinyl offering of the year, kick started with the subtle and melodic cut “When You Are gone“, which takes a deep groove and laces it with a plethora of soft synths and atmospherics. Mihai Popoviciu then reworks “When You Are gone“ into a different entity, rewiring a headier groove into the track with raw-defined hats, building further tension with tight synth stabs and ethereal pads. Vinyl Only Track “Innocent“ then takes tribal tinged percussion to new depths, fuelling it with booming kicks and flourishing chords, further intensified by swirling vocals. A pure dub aesthetic then shines through “Maritza“, as saturated drums and a rumbling low end provide the skeleton for swelling synths to meander alongside spiritual vocals, closing out the package.
