Renaissance welcomes Notre Dame back to the label having previously remixed Mr Morek‘s 'Massive Landing'. Brimming with youthful energy and creativity, the Parisian producer and DJ has also released on Three Six Zero, Stil Vor Talent and Diynamic, not least his breakout ‘Yumi’ on the latter, so Renaissance is very excited to get him back onboard. His other accolades include Pete Tong's ‘Essential New Tune’ and touring all over the world, playing at a variety of influential clubs and festivals that includes Cercle Festival, Zamna, Space Miami, Womb Tokyo, KOKO London and more… 'Geisha' grew out of a deep fascination with Japanese culture, in particular the artisans from which it takes its name and the country’s renowned landscapes; it’s a perfect musical snapshot of the orient, which also features an ‘Intro Mix’, that’ll no doubt secure a place at the start of many a set. Cioz takes the remix honours, injecting serious, melodic techno weight to the track; undoubtedly a sumo counterpoint destined for peaktime dojos. 'What I Need' provides able support and finds Notre Dame on familiar indie territory with a slap-bass rocket-ride to planet funk.

Vertigini is the alias of a prodigious talent. To date, Arthur Mukharlyamov’s infectious hooks have only been available digitally. Bordello A Parigi are more than excited to give this analogue alchemist his full vinyl debut. Four tracks make up the aptly named Thunder. The title piece rumbles from speaker cones, thick banks of bass and crisp rhythms crack before smooth strings give way to flashes of melodic radiance. Inspiration lies in the heavens with this EP, he’s leaving the bonds of earth for “Galaxy Funk”. Textured percussion is cut with acid grooves while generous breaks fuel this expedition. A fierce arpeggiator immediately ignites the flip, lancing beats pierce this burbling bulwark as honeyed notes melt in the muscled sweetness of “Final Space”. The journey back to Earth is imminent, but not without one final fun-filled flurry. Rich drum patterns are the foundation for the sticky groove of “Space Trip”. Vocals echo skyward while Vertigini weaves a dancefloor delight to ease re-entry to reality.

Release Info: 
The South American wunderkind Eze Ramirez drops another furious firework on our sacred Radikon playgrounds. A gated reverb straight out of the deepest studio chambers of the 80s introduces us to 'Detuned', leading further into a dark dungeon of fizzling synth weirdness. Maxxed out filters are blasting synthetic screams out of the speaker over a stoic beat pattern which nails this track directly into the dancing feet. Over the top one shots interwine with rhythmic patterns played by melody percussion hybrids. 'Cinetica' sticks to the same patterns of juvenile playfulness combined with a cinematic gravitas on the harmonic side, a quasi darker sibling to the predecessor. The constant drive never lets loose of the listener, only a few selected break moments leave rare spaces to breathe. Both tracks prove the staggering talent of the Argentinian producer, blending a whole range of modern electronic genres into a jut out release like this one.
