Pete Tong plays 'Ballin' by Illyus & Barrientos on BBC Radio 1! 

We’ve unearthed two gems from a pair of accomplished Glaswegian producers for our second release. Love & Other are very proud to present… Illyus & Barrientos with their new ‘Ballin’ EP.

An unlikely pair, Illyus, originally a hip-hop DJ famed for his turntablism, and Barrientos, a classical music enthusiast; the duo’s paths were fated to cross. Individually the producers have already achieved far beyond many, with support from music nobility including: Giles Peterson, Groove Armada, John Digweed and Sasha.

Support for their first and only thus-far collaboration EP on fast becoming iconic Glasgow Underground label have included Pete Tong, Skream, Gorgon City, Amine Edge, Kry Wolf and loads more. We follow up with ‘Ballin’ and ‘Someone Else’ - truly spectacular, hedonistic, bass driven house with more than a touch of class.

After some earlier Releases, Patrick started 2011 with some big releases again: he remixed Extrawelt´s Titelheld and with this track he also hit the third place of the Beatport techno charts. For Cocoon Recordings he also mixed the retrospective Mix-CD oft he 11 Years Cocoon Recordings. Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. Soft pads, beautiful rhythms and a distinct eastern vibe mark the latest footprint in the journey of the young music maker. Release date - January 16th, 2017.
