A new type of racing festival…
On 29th July, Newcastle Racecourse will transform into a day-night festival of food, music and entertainment for all the family. Doors will open at 14.00 for a day filled with great eats, exhibitions from our teams and associated brands and memorable experiences.

Live music announced!
We’re thrilled to announce that Amy Lauren will be headlining each Racing League event alongside an inspiring line-up, curated by Amy, of some of the finest DJs and producers local to Newcastle.

Food & Drink - think international
We aim to bring an international flavour, provided by local suppliers and producers. The food festival will carry on into the night, with street-food and light bites from all over the world. There will also be drinks and refreshment pop-ups in addition to the traditional racecourse bars.

Exhibitions
We will be hosting a number of guest exhibitions over the 6 events. We will have displays from the latest content creators in sport and tech, as well as a chance to check out the latest technology in horse racing.

What will be the look and feel of a Racing League event?
The Racing League will have a festival feel. We will be using the inner section of the track, called the infield, to host interactive entertainment, music and a food festival picnic area. Team zones and brand activation spaces will also be situated on the infield.

Dress Code
Most racegoers choose a smart casual outfit when attending the races and we discourage sportswear and ripped jeans. There are more formal dress codes in place for some of our premier ticket options as well as hospitality and restaurant packages. Please click here to view our dress code.
Kids Go Free!
Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). You’ll need to select a child ticket when making your booking.

Book in advance & SAVE! Book your tickets at least 48 hours before each fixture to benefit from our advance booking discount & save a minimum of 10%* when you book early.

Black Roses Seventeenth EP comes from Italian duo MAAND. The guys from Naples provided three great tracks with a very romantic and melancholic feeling but at the same time full of energy at the right spot. "Anorher Day Without You" it's a journey with atmospheric pads and deep vocals, a perfect dream scenario. In "Faithless" we have the same dream scenario and atmospheric pads but in a more energetic way enhanced by the groove and bassline. The last one "Introspective" as the title suggests is a journey to discover ourselves, the leads and pads will bring you into a meditation phase till your be released with the explosive drop in the main break.

THYLACINE - When We Dip 188

I’m happy to release my recording from Sandbox Festival in Hurghada Egypt. I always love playing the Middle East. The sights, sounds, tastes, and smells are very different than my home, all of which represent one of my favorite aspects of DJing: getting enjoy the world’s diversity. Beyond that, I’ve found that the people of the region are an incredibly friendly and passionate bunch, so playing a festival that attracts the heads from many across the region was special for me.

The Sandbox mainstage was a big one - these stages are sometimes tricky for me as I feel pressured to go for the jugular and bang out a medley of big drops for those hands in the air moments, but I resisted the pressure and went instead for undulation between the deep moments building to the big ones while maintaining a steady groove through. Hope that idea came through, hope you enjoy the set, and can’t wait to make my way back to the Middle East!
