Emotional but powerful. I’m loving these tracks for their very own emotional journey. They brings you from a very sad place to a feeling full of power and energy.

Michael Klein - Live Drawing 2
One of my own experiments let’s me keep continue the vibe and feeling of power and energy from the tracks before. It get’s a little bit more hectic mimicking fast thought processes of sorting data in your mind.

Nosaj Thing - Medic
I have a very personal connection to this track as it was supporting me during the most emotional phase this year. It triggers me to constantly switch between sadness and euphoria because of its frequent back and forth between the harmonic parts and the stripped down atmo.

Echologist - Dirt (Area Elevation Remix)
For the first time i heard this track while being at a Boiler Room event in Berlin. Since than it always reminds me of the power music has on people.

Area - Tangled in 120
When i am low on energy or focus this track brings me back. Amazing energy that just makes me want to close my eyes and stop doing anything else. A very hypnotic and sexy techno track.

Kitkatone - My Mate The President
Loving the percussions of this one. One of the tracks that reminds me about all the facets and effects of techno music.

Rrose - Purge
This one stands for anger. One of these tracks you barely manage to squeeze into a club set because of its complexity and heaviness but for sure great to to support you during a run or workout.

Michael Cleis & Klement Bonelli - Marvinello (Feat. Martin Wilson) (Radio Slave Remix)
For sure there needed to be a super euphoric club tune in here. This one sounds and feels like an amazing well executed club night where everybody is enjoying themselves. But in general i am a big fan of the recent works of Radio Slave so one of them had to make it in here.

New Jackson is next up on Maeve with a reissue of a track very close to our hearts, The Night Mail. Originally released on POGO Recordings back in 2011, it became something of a sleeper hit. Both tracks get remixes from Mano Le Tough to round off the record.

Armonica, the charismatic Italian duo from Riccione, have been making people take notice for several years. They were previously both residents of the infamous Cocorico club and formed a close friendship before deciding to bring their musical projects together. 

Their debut release was on Berlin-based label Bar 25 Music and reached the Deep House Top 100 on Beatport. With great support from the likes of Dixon, Ame, Solomun, Black Coffee, + Andhim, their work is achieving the recognition they always thought was within their reach.

The sixth EP of Infinite Depth is produced by the Spanish artist Asonante. It has been a long wait till a new release of this characteristic producer, but it’s finally here. Asonante managed to create two atmospheric and dark, but still melodic tracks: ‘Appearances’ and ‘The Silfos’. The first one got a more melodic touch by Oliver Winters and the second one got into the techno hands of Symmetric & Future of Matter. This all forms a four-track banger of an EP, called ‘Daydream EP’.

The touch of Oliver Winters made the original track ‘Appearances’ even more haunting, but also more melodic. He managed to create a very captivating melody, which got enclosed by the elements of the original.

"A Colombian artist with a rapidly growing reputation for producing high-quality underground progressive house, Kamilo Sanclemente continues to impress from his Cali home in the southwest of the country. A regular on the likes of Clubsonica Records, FSOE UV and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, some 200 production credits can be found against his name in a prolific period between 2017 and 2018. August 2017 marked a debut for Particles with the three-track "Revelations" EP, followed by "Eva" in May 2018. January 2019 marked a debut for Proton Music in the shape of the beautiful "Spiral Patters". Joined by sometime collaboration partner and fellow Colombian, Dabeat, the pair saw the track remixed by iconic Brazilian artist, Andre Sobota. Coming together on a clutch of blue-chip releases for the likes of Soundteller and BeatFreak Recordings, February 2019 marked a high-point for the duo with the release of "Your Smile is Priceless" on Mango Alley. Now returning to Proton Music, Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat have created a wonderful interpretation of "Purple Rain" that sits upon an intricate percussive framework. The central melodic theme of the original punctures the mid-range, intelligently effected to create a new cadence, while a glorious array of additional production material makes its presence felt through rippling arpeggio sequence and rich pads. The result is typically impressive result that illustrates why the duo's sound is proving so popular.

Another South American pairing of burgeoning reputation, the Brazilian duo of Demitros and Dante Pippi continue to "awaken evolving minds" with their unique blend of ticking percussive grooves and dynamic melodies. Both successful artists in their own rights, the pair have found their work allied to a selection of high-calibre imprints that include Balkan Connection, One Of A Kind and an outing on the successful Visceral compilation series. Moreover, a high-profile remix of Pole Folder in August 2018 paved the way for the four-track "When You Get There" EP which featured a reciprocal mix from the iconic Belgian DJ and producer. Gaining further traction at the end of 2018 with a remix for UK trio, Trilucid and Phil Martyn, it is an honour to welcome Demitros and Dante Pippi to Proton Music with their reworking of "Grey Rain". Immediately recognisable with its intelligent use of the bassline so central to Peter Makto and Gregory S' track, a pulsating percussive rhythm is joined by a raft of new melodic phrases and arpeggiated sequence. Evolving elegantly, the track hits its stride in the third movement with a dynamic combination of broken-beat rhythm and melody that is certain to find favour with club-goers across South America and beyond.

Remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat and Demitros and Dante Pippi have continued a torrent of creativity in Peter Makto and Gregory S' "Purple Rain".

The first incarnation of @johnmonkman's "Ruckus" had more defining melodies however as time went on it started sounding more interesting with the drum tracks alongside the raw recordings from the modular. It's fairly chaotic at times but hopefully you get a sense of order at the right moments. It's one of those tracks that might not necessarily be for home listening, however, on the dance floor it works a charm. (...)
