Jungle Journey is an “Various Artist“ Compilation. 15 well selected Artists combine their talents on one Record. 11 unique Songs will guide you on a trip through the jungle. While you dive deaper and deaper into the rain forest you can hear and feel the cosy Downtempo vibes. You will experience the organic sounds as rain drops leaving a shiver on your skin. When you close your eyes the hypnotic melodys will show you wild spirits and crazy animals, as you have never seen before. Rhythmic percussions and drums will raise your heartbeat like hunting with Tigers would. Completed with the voice of nature as free as your mind after listening to this Jungle Journey and first release by KataHaifisch.

After a remarkable remix out last year on Family Piknik, San Francisco duo EMANATE makes its debut on our label with two mind-blowing tracks. Split Light is a peak time Techno cut playing with cosmic synths, while Flux shows a deeper and darker mood. Running its own label Mioli since more than a decade, the American duo has already proved it has a very special approach in their music. For this EP, remixes are courtesy of regular Family Piknik players. Franky Wah kicks off 2021 with new EP ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’, his maiden release on the legendary Anjunadeep, out 12th February. 
A four-track EP, ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ opens with the lead title track, an emotion-drenched vocal cut pairing poignant breakdowns with the soaring vocals of AETHO, out 4th February.

Franky enjoyed a career-affirming 2020 that included putting out a collaborative EP with dance music icon Sasha and dropping his debut mixtape The Revival Vol. 1, which included singles ‘You’re Not Alone’ and ‘Come Together’. The latter was nominated for Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record Of The Year’ and certified as her ‘Tune Of The Week’ and ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on BBC Radio 1, as well as garnering support from Pete Tong and MistaJam. With a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix now under his belt, he spent an impressive 10 weeks on the Radio 1 Playlist, 5 weeks of which on the A-List. The producer also made waves featuring in the globally renowned GQ Magazine in 2020, with an extensive feature focussing on the rising talent’s expansive repertoire. 

Going back to his roots, ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ sees Franky Wah tap into his love of deep, melodic music and takes the genre into bold new territories.
