Say the label of this new collection, "In ancient Khemit, Atum was one of the first Masters of Khemitian mythology, associated with creation and the Ennead (nine divine Masters) of Heliopolis, the city of the Sun. His name means completion, ultimacy and continuity. Atum was the chief Master in the Ennead of Heliopolis. This place of primacy in early times is mentioned in the Pyramid Texts, where he receives more attention than many other Masters combined. Sounds of Khemit is being guided and educated by Atum, his energy and teachings will not only shed light onto Sounds of Khemit project but it will spread to everywhere around us. His energy will lead us to bring order from disorder and to bring light from darkness." First up, LA-based deep house dreamer, Sarkis Mikael returns after landing on the label's second release back in 2021. He works with Arash Avin on 'Deede O Del', a house cut with bouncing drums and spiritual vocal chants. The percussive groove is brilliantly organic and atmospheric. Berlin underground mainstay Deckert links with Japan's STUDIO APARTMENT - a duo turned solo project that first started 20 years ago and had big tunes on quality labels like King Street Sounds, Defected and New World Records - for the brilliant 'Ebisu'. It's spine-tinging house music with widescreen and pensive synth work. Shakers and strings add great detail to the drums, which have a hypnotic and mystic quality beneath the cosmic keys. Last of all is Socko, an artist who combines Armenian ethnic compositions with his own vision. His 'Dandelion' is the edgiest of the EP, with steely drums and creeping bass notes under a catchy groove. Exotic melodic motifs cast a further spell as this worldly house track unfolds. 'Atum's Myth' is another immersive and escapist collection of worldly grooves.

December has gained golden colors thanks to ‘My Soul', released on Art Vibes. A magnificent EP of three impressive tracks making us travel and dance introspectively in a very special way.
Courtesy of Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat and American singer / producer Evelynka, ‘My Soul' takes us into a sphere of dance and reflection through powerful synthesizers and progressive beats. The beats go hand in hand with Evelynka's spatial vocals, guiding us to a place where calm turns into euphoria.

Spanish producer Yamil joins Art Vibes with his own take on ‘My Soul' where the minimalist kick and percussions give the track another personality. Keeping the narrative characteristics of the original piece, this remix ends up landing on a foamy drop, with glass bubbles and uplifting chime landscapes spinning around our ears. Try it for yourself!

Closing off the EP, Artaria's remix of ‘My Soul' is an explosion of intricate sound synthesis, restless percussion, reverberation and electric shocks that are impossible not to dance to. All this precedes an unexpected drop, uniting the rhythmic aesthetics of eighties techno with the energy of trance and its distinctive synthesizers.

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas welcomes a new organic house EP from imprint favourite Namito, which also includes a collaborative remix by Shan Nash and Rebeat.

Namito is an Iranian artist currently living in Berlin and he is internationally respected for his uplifting style that blends enchanting melodies and deep atmospherics with flowing percussion. Along with numerous releases on Sol Selectas he has also featured tracks and remixes on other scene-leading record labels such as Bedrock, Bar 25, Katermukke, Global Underground and Embassy One.

Sol Selectas fans need little introduction to Namito's iconic 2019 track "Stone Flower" as it was a chart-topping success that remains one of the record label's most popular tracks to date.

Shan Nash and Rebeat are Iranian artists collaborating together for the first time, and both are respected solo artists that have been making waves as talented producers. Shan Nash is known for dropping organic house tracks via Cafe De Anatolia, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet as well as Shango Records. Rebeat produces in styles ranging from deep house to melodic techno, featuring on labels ranging from Kosa to Dubfire's SCI+TEC.

"Legend" opens the release with an earthy conga loop, shuffling high-end percussion and a deep bassline that's rich in sub-bass. The shimmering pads and haunting vocals build towards an epic breakdown with spellbinding Iranian lyrics, then there is a lift in energy when the percussion hits back in.

Shan Nash and Rebeat's remix of "Legend" adds a new pulsating bassline and a techy percussion loop that gives their version a hypnotic groove. Stripping back the synths so the drums and vocals become the main focus, it's an up-tempo rework that is tailored to the dance floor.

The cover by Helia Jamali portrays an old legend carrying blossoming branches, traversing across the mountains of destiny, into the unknown.
