The winter's almost gone and Luettje Luise's Mama comes out of hibernation. With a new playground at home, it will take a talented hand to prepare for the upcoming spring. Along comes @Nutia, sowing his seeds of ‘Raounuor’.

‘Fischbahn’ (A1) is a decent wake up call for the early birds facing their way back north to the deep woods of ‘Schweden’ (A2). Here, Nutia serenades those old inhabitants with a rattling melody, and sends them on their way with heads still light. ‘Em Pessoa’ (B1) tinkles on the flipside: a lullaby of constant perpetuation, which echoes its way through the mesmerising labyrinth of trees and bushes, only to be heard by the lonesome @Deer (B2), who answers with the most gentle mating call these woods have ever heard.

‘From Outside’ (Digital) the vinyl some unknown voices fly in. One might call them electronic - whatever that could be.

The first Moodfamily release brings co-founder and Belgian strong man AMyn to the table. 

The first track is the title track of the EP called 'Twisted River'. It’s a musical work that takes you a few years back combining a steady groove with an abstract melody that reaches beyond audible frequencies which will haunt dancefloors everywhere. It grabs and releases tension while it flows like a – you guessed it – twisted river.

Canson delivers a melancholic and deeply personal variation on the original twisted melody. While his piano hypnotizes, the main melody is cut, sliced and placed carefully, provoking subtle escapes from the main theme.  

The bassline brings more focus to this new mood which is created throughout the track by not grabbing the attention but rather fueling a sensitive groove. This brings the song into a completely new atmosphere fueled by a haunting synth which builds gently as the song evolves. 

The B-side, 'Gloam' might as well be the A-side as it requires somewhat more attention, but after listening to it for a few times it sticks to your mind. The melody is looming and it moves freely over a careless groove. It is a tad slower, but this allows a clear pronunciation of the musical phrases.

He is the founder of LIKE records and a key figure in the electronic music scene in Cologne. He is also the face of Reineke Fuchs and responsible for the high quality bookings and the club’s unique success. After lots of releases on his own label LIKE, Beats In Space, Dantze and Kompakt records, there with his Project DAMH (which he is running with ADA), it’s no wonder David is so highly revered these days.

I was banned by the new Netflix Series  „Stranger things“ after I decided to create an intro for my Zenify Music podcast based on the theme song. It is a live recording while I jammed with my Korg R3 Vocoder, a Juno 106 and some other 80´s Instruments I have collected over the years. After I finished, I recognized there was only 6 minutes on the recording so I filled the rest with my newest music and other great stuff by artists I like.

For over five years, All Day I Dream has been where deep and emotive meet House music. Propelled by a community of forward thinking artists drawn around the scion of master curator and sunset/sunrise set specialist, Lee Burridge.

They now welcome Lost Desert to the label with the release of Lingala, a two-track collaborative effort with Burridge himself, that also features Junior on vocals. Lost Desert was picked out of obscurity after Burridge discovered his music while trekking in a remote area of a long lost land. A fast forged friendship inevitably lead to the studio, and Lingala’s the enrapturing sophomore result. 

Lingala, is a beautifully composed ten-minute sonic journey. Our Debut Transmission is Gorje Hewek & Izhevski’s interpretation of Lingala is a markedly different affair. Focussing on musical layers rather than the vocal the duo’s  signature spacey atmospheres and minimal rhythmic percussion add extra strings creating uplifting moments that contrast the original’s mood.
