'Barcelona via London producer Daniel Orpi shows that he is no stranger to big-impact sounds on his latest EP, ‘Homeboy’, featuring the tracks ‘Homeboy’ and ‘Twerk It’.

Carefully crafted yet care-free, the title track is filled to the brim with cranking, steely beats, using strategic layering to build up to a minimal yet euphoric drop featuring rhythmic female vocal samples for a floor-filling sound, reminiscent of hazy club nights.

Orpi gives us a different flavour on ‘Twerk It’, showing his production prowess with deep, resonating drum sounds that multiply into a juicy and complex soundscape with futuristic, arpeggiated synths and a groovy motif. Orpi adds melody in waves, teasing us with subtle yet powerful drops.

Daniel Orpi is set to take 2021 by storm, changing the game with his infectious beats and grooves.'

'ADRIANZA & Cordero link up for a pair of fantastic new singles on the ever excellent Adrianza Records label, while man of the moment and Cuttin' Headz affiliate Jean Pierre and House Keepers Records owners MEEN serve up fine remixes.

Drinking Up goes first and is a slick, driving tech house cut with funk deep in its bones. The rattling percussion is lively and dynamic and the shuffling drums really get you drawn in deep. Add in the turbo charge baseline and you have a real standout. The Jean Pierre Remix is super slick, with spaced out pads, tripped out melodic details and a paired back electronic house groove that cannot fail to get the floor moving.

Dying in Ecstasy then explores another deep but driving and dynamic house groove that comes with neon chords and a relentless sense of futuristic vibes that is nice and fresh next to the spoken word vocal sounds. Dying In Ecstasy (MEEN Remix) closes out with a more heady house feeling - razor sharp drums, steamy vocal whispers and driving house funk.

This is a killer EP once again from all.'
