Due for worldwide release on Friday, November 24, this latest release sees label boss Elif welcome Argentinian producer RADON for his Marginalia label debut, as he pulls out all the stops to unleash a remarkable three-track package together with featuring remixer, Auggië.

The releases middle order sees the Marginalia crew flex their acutely-tuned A&R muscles once again, as they invite Milanese producer Auggië (MoBlack Records, Eklektisch, Vokabularium and AZZUR) to put his own inimitable spin on RADON’s resounding opener. Turning RADON’s original on its head, Auggië’s innate ability to create thought-provoking records that embrace both the ears and the spirit is resplendent throughout the remix, as the ever-talented producer puts his own melodic stamp on the standout lead single.

When We Dip XYZ presents the ‘Swim In Memories' EP from producers Presia and Roo. Presia has released on respected imprints such as Isolate, microCastle & Moodmusic, crafting high-quality cuts under his very own ‘Grunge House' sub-genre. Roo stormed the scene recently with a collaboration on Samer Soltan's Sanctuary Music, which was remixed by Marcus Worgull. He's also brought some of the most interesting artists in the scene to his hometown of Amman, Jordan, under the Vudu and U Roof brands.

On the eponymous ‘Swim In Memories', subtle chords match the soothing vocals from Presia speaking of healing one's soul through calming the mind. The arp and horn-like pluck rise in intensity as they lead the way through the electronic ballad.

‘Cut' showcases a sharp jump in energy as ethereal vocal chops and the ‘Cut' ad-lib rest on a sharp snare and bulky kick. The table is set for Presia who delivers a spirited guitar solo straight from the hip.

‘Until It Breaks' conveys a melancholic feel as the breakbeat groove and saturated bass is complemented by the evolving pads, arps and textures.

On the final track, the post-rock induced ‘Guelai', a robotic voice narrates its poetry through the industrial textures, watery glitches and risers.

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies’ take on BLANCAh’s “Talus”. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button’s “Paramour” is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo’s version of Nick Devon’s “Overflow”, which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon’s “Syndicate” remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won’t let one stand still!
