The mysterious dealer Monaberry sells them all an elixir, which guarantees them accuracy and top 10 chart positions. During the duel, all 3 quickly realize that everyone has taken the same elixir. They agree on a common EP and are happy about this fact, because a won duel leads to the fact that one can never go the wrong way with this EP.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. About Fideles :
Fideles is a project born of Italian duo Daniele Aprile & Mario Roberti. Emerging in early 2010, the pair have already released a substantial body of music to date, across a number of leading imprints. With the aim of delivering a mature and complete sound, their productions have found their way to release on labels including Josh Wink’s ‘Ovum Recordings’ & Oliver Koletzki’s ‘Still vor Talent’. Fideles’s rounded production, combining a mix of melodic and interesting layers, has turned heads of leading DJs and music fans alike. It’s evident from their recent EPs and mixes that Fideles are a duo that have a lot more to give. 2017 is set to be a turning point for the Italian duo. Having already released on Innervisions and with more equally highbrow productions scheduled for later in the year, Fideles are fast becoming a rounded and familiar electronic music act.

The new year on Exit Strategy starts with the second strike from Fideles.

The title track ‘Cerchio’ really works the elements of suspense and tension over its slow burning progression.

After touring the globe with a three-piece band, Desert Sound Colony, the alias of Liam Wachs, has made a welcome return to his dancefloor roots. His forthcoming EP Tethered is set for release on Edu Imbernon’s Fayer with remixes from acclaimed producers H.O.S.H, The Drifter and Denis Horvat.

The vocals of title track Tethered reach out to you like a tribal calling, whilst guitar strings lead into a hypnotic trance that is interspersed with cosmic sounds and clashing cymbals. Wachs describes it as “most appropriate for an after hours session or a sunrise at a festival.” Whereas Sunrise of My Mind is deep and bassy with a broken beat that yearns to be heard on a huge soundsystem. “Somewhere between the dub and breakbeat sounds of Leeds circa 2009 and the weirder side of bands today” he explains.

The second track receives two reworks. The first from Dynamic favourite H.O.S.H is layered to the brim, sending the tune to another dimension. Denmark’s Denis Horvat who has released on labels like Afterlife and Innervisions delivers a darker, more techno leaning version. Maeve label boss The Drifter reworks Tethered by slowing the beat down a notch but still retaining plenty of groove to satisfy any dancefloor.

An artist with many talents, Desert Sound Colony has released on admired labels like Scissor & Thread and Me Me Me. Recently he has graced the stages of many respected festivals alongside names such as Ewan Pearson, Kenny Larkin, Hunee and Craig Richards.
