Transmit Recordings’ next highly anticipated release comes from who other than the label boss Boris, consisting of the original track and two remixed versions from the great Christian Smith and the Naples born Hollen. Boris original version of “Music Takes Me” is a peak time burner, heavy kicks, chaotic background atmospheres and a bass destined to shake any given dance floor. Christian’s remixed version is a groover, heavy playful bassline and percussive with a tribalistic touch and to conclude the big release Hollen’s remix is closer to the original, making great use of the background atmo’s and introducing a more subtle underground drum work to match his usual style.
