Needing no introduction, NYC-based Baltra rose with the lo-fi house scene and has become one of the most innovative producers to come out of it, constantly pushing for a fresh sound with use of organic vocals and cross-genre experimentation. Returning for a full record on Shall Not Fade for the first time since the hazy sounds of Rendezvous EP in 2019, Baltra’s Dreaming Of A Disco EP focuses on impeccable instrumentals and infectious melodies.

The title track carries subtle manipulated vocalisations at the core of the melody which has a touch of romance and, later, just a hint of disco strings adding an 80s shimmer that explodes to the forefront in jangling guitar riffs. By the second number, ‘Imaginary Laughter’, you know this record is party-ready - it is a slow build up of ecstasy, sugary sweet. Languid keys create a woozy atmosphere in ‘Private Paradise’, a track which is a glittering and understated anthem. EP closer ‘Sunset Jam’ holds more disco influence, channelling Donna Summer into a modern style with tight vocal percussion and 303 stabs for a genre-melting climax.

A trip around the world with the next Madorasindahouse release, by Jalal Ramdani, Nicolas Sasson, and Daniel Rateuke, presenting Las Voces. Taking a break from a heavy touring schedule which includes appearances in the hottest places of the globe, on the side of names like Who Made Who and Blondish, Nicolas collaborates with Jalal Ramdani, the up and coming talent who has already gained the support of Keinemusik and Black Coffee to name a few. 

The duo uses a distinct vocal sample, combining it with afro percussions, creating a heavy dancefloor groover. Daniel on remix duties needs no further introduction: we first welcomed him to the Madorasindahouse family with Gold, the unforgettable collaboration with AWEN, while in the meantime he has topped the sales charts with many of his productions. For this remix, he decides to transform the original to a more club-friendly version with a heavy bassline, messing around with the vocal sample, and delivering another remarkable Rateuke production.

Pleiadians are a collective of multidimensional spirit beings from the Pleiades star system. The group’s mission is to assist humanity with the process of spiritual transformation and is motivated to connect with humans out of concern for Earth’s future 

Inspired by the legends and mythological stories of the Pleiadians , Morttagua produced a deep progressive house  with the focus on uplifting melodic riffs and magical harmonies. Soft percussion work and solid bass-line groove combines with the sparkling plucks and immersive pads for that timeless sunset or sunrise moments. One year on since the release of their latest EP, “Rituals”, German flagship duo Township Rebellion returns to SVT with “혼돈 과 질서” (“Chaos and Order” in Korean). Clad in some kind of sci-fi-indebted dystopian - yet no hopeless - scenario, the twofold EP summons ambiguous visions of a world caught in limbo between technologically advanced societies bound to collapse and ambitions for a brighter future through enhanced levels of empathy and understanding that long to surface.  

First is “Chaos”, a slo-blooming roller that steadily swells towards proper club epicness as its arpeggios unfold. Tapping into 80s-laced, Moroder-friendly Italo with a train-like electro-swing for the main conductor, the cut reels out like the soundtrack to a bumpy otherworldly dream where shapes, colours and sounds entangle in a cosmogonic ballet of sorts. Flip sides and here is the steely, yoking counterpart to TR’s free-flowing opener, “Order”. Flexing its metal muscles and giving maximum room to martial kicks and AI-implemented programming, the track reels out like a brooding call-to-arms, merging thunderous echoes with a truly enslaving gridlocked groove.

Cid Inc. returns to his Replug Records imprint for the much anticipated follow-up to his chart topping ‘Abyss'. Released in April of this year, the peak time opus enjoyed a two week long stay atop Beatport's Progressive House tracks chart. Aided by months of live play from Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, the boundless eight minute journey firmly sits as one of the year's best in progressive house. Now as the summer season winds to a close Cid Inc. presents the much anticipated follow-up entitled ‘Bird Cherry'.

For an artist who has captured the imagination of progressive music fans for over a decade, Cid Inc. has raised the bar yet again with ‘Bird Cherry'. From its lively beginnings you're immediately captivated as tight beats, buoyant bass tones and finely tuned percussion converge for the ultimate rhythmic wave. Sparse yet timely, ghostly effects add further anticipation before crunchy stabs steal the air as the main break commences. The centerpiece shifts the narrative into emotive territory as blissful harmonics and warm chord changes lead to a swirling synth vortex for the ages.

Equally stunning is the companion piece ‘Fear and Square'. Opening up with a punchy yet warm groove, Cid Inc's finest production hallmarks are on top form here. Hypnotic and fluid, the pulsating framework gets adorned with ghostly atmospheres, smooth rhythmic artefacts and a deadly, hip swinging arp. Adding further fuel to the fire a vocal narrative and growling stabs highlight the break, lost in a forest of cascading electronics and shifty harmonics before a timely roll sparks a dynamic drop. 

Cid Inc. has had a hand in many of progressive music's finest moments, from the aforementioned 'Abyss' to the 2017 smash 'Shifter' and the ultimate set closer in 'Contrite'. Our first Stripped Recordings release of 2019 is here and we proudly present an artist we've watched from afar whilst he's been working his magic for labels such as Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings. In 2018 he released one of the years biggest progressive house records on Nick Warren's latest imprint The Soundgarden the track "Sandwaves" was played by a large cross section of dj's around the globe and still is to this day. 

The artist we are talking about here is Egyptian producer Black 8  from the nations capital Cairo (who's production career started in 2006). Here he has delivered his first Original track since that mega hit to us, and we are honoured to have him and  "Valley Of The Kings" {Original Widescreen Edition} which comes as a stand-alone track clocking in at just under 11 minutes that has had us pressing play over and over and we hope that you will all do the same once you hear it.

Milestones are important. Sudbeat reaches another with their 150th release from Belarusian superstar Dmitry Molosh: Ambition and Bustle. The modern day renaissance man has been on a roll of late with a gig diary bursting at the seams. From Moscow to Buenos Aires, his trademark style is unmistakable and we couldn't ask for a better artist to meet this milestone head on. 

'Ambition' does just what it says on the tin. Elastic bass skips along with ricochet hats as the melody slowly develops gradually revealing more melodic elements. Growing ever larger in the break the payoff is remarkable after the drop. 'Bustle' is the tougher cousin. Based around a sparse percussive underbelly, melodic themes intertwine with a bumpy bassline. An ode, of sorts, to the power prog of the 90s, it's relentless energy and spiky sonics make it a timeless secret weapon.
