Soma welcome Techno behemoth Monoloc for his label debut with two dark, brooding Techno tracks in his inimitable style with the ‘Gipson EP’. Monoloc was born in 1980 in Frankfurt am Main. He first got in touch with the booming electronic music scene of this Techno metropolis at the age of 16 and soon bought his first set of records. Since then, his life has revolved around his ultimate goal; manifestation of his musical vision in the form of dj sets as well as his very own productions.

Title track Gipson kicks off with deep, pumping subs and kicks with a slowing evolving atmosphere creating great tension through the body of the track. Monoloc subtly pulls back the throttle only to launch back it with bold, crashing percussion. Most definitely one for the more moody dance floor.

On the flip, Cupel starts off a little lighter but defiantly delivers a punch. Muted kicks and atmosphere provide the backdrop while delayed synths trip out over the top. Monoloc picks up the pace ever so slightly as skipping hi hats given the track more urgency before ethereal pads glisten through the heart.

An exciting debut from a true master of Techno

Following on from his debut self-titled album, Danish House extraordinaire Noir provides us with the record’s second single, ‘Let It Go’, featuring vocals from Caitlin. The single features a remix from Stuttgart’s Johannes Brecht, and two new versions from Noir himself, in the form of a ‘Raw Club Cut’ and a thumping Techno remix.  The Raw Club Cut gets down to business with Caitlin’s fervent vocal sitting on top of the hypnotic, stabbing lead line that keeps the rhythm flowing through the entirety of the track. Pulsing pads continue to build emotion that build to the song’s conclusion.   Johannes Brecht follows a different direction with a chilled beach jam, eminating a laid back bassline, chugging percussion and down tempo piano chords, topped by a warm pitched down vocal line.   The single is concluded by Noir’s ‘Long Gone’ Techno remix, an intelligent piece with attitude. Mechanical synth lines go up against the vocals, now chopped and twisted to reflect the vibe, all above the pounding kick drum.

We don’t need to introduce the Mexican producer based in London, we just tell you, that the sun is back with these sounds coming up in April. "Phobik" is mystic and wide open - a real summer track without redunant parts. You’ll simply get lost during the break and you’ll need a deep breath after it. Be prepared, "Botox" isn’t that circumspect. It is minimalistic and straight in the beginning but after a few seconds you are back in the good old times of Techno. Less light, more night. The track reminds you of a video game sound, quick and metallic. When it stops, we have "A Long Story Short" with a bleeping start and a warm melody combined with techy synths and a dark backdrop. It’s like a chemical reaction - not easy to get out of your mind and your body. So, that is what we call magic - simply infecting.

Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. Token 24, which has a double a-side, reflects all of this. ‘Spectre’ hits hard yet gloomy. Relentless drums bathing in reverb and a strange synth line create yet another unique IK-piece. 
‘Wonderhorse’ is built on the same foundations but explores a more melodic &amp; psychedelic trajectory.
