Strip it back – that’s the approach behind Andre Crom and his label OFF Recordings, which nowadays ranges amongst the most popular underground electronic music labels of the world.

Now, Andre Crom returns to OFF with a deep and moody piece of house music, 'Hold On Tight'. Based on a layer of solid drums and a warm bassline, the track evolves with a gliding synth hook and bell theme, topped by a haunting vocal featuring Bramwell.

Today's exclusive premiere is Jonas Saalbach's reworking of 'Hold On Tight', which delivers a spacy interpretation, altering the original theme and introducing new synth layers.

Jonas Saalbach is refreshingly different as he constantly reinvents his music but refrains from leaving out distinct nuances, which make his music unmistakable, not to mention, he performs his tracks exclusively live. His music seems to distort space and time, liberates and triggers an intoxicating euphoric effect, that is long overdue.

By convention, sweet is sweet, bitter is bitter, hot is hot, cold is cold, colour is colour; but in truth there are only atoms and the void. So it goes.

Our fourteenth chapter sees label co-founders Sam Pauli (@sampaulimusic) & Paul Nolan (@paul-nolan) continue their collaboration with Atoms. Witness the reaction that occurs when these two electrifying artists enter the same creative orbit. Joining them on this release are talents Miyagi (@miyagi) and Danny Oliveira (@dnyo), for a stellar body of material.

The nature of atoms lies far below our powers of observation. Since atoms cannot be seen, their movements, too, escape us. As atoms travel through the void, they swerve from their course. Were it not so, they would remain forever isolated, and never meet to form the complexity of the universe. 

Providing his own swerve on the title track is Hamburg's Miyagi (Katermukke / Einmusika / SOSO), whose Edition focuses on a powerful, bass-laden groove which transports us until the familiar harmony takes over once more.

There are only atoms and the void. So it goes. 

But hold a mirror up to the void and you will discover that it is by no means empty nothingness. It contains particles of light which flicker in and out of existence.

Beyond the atoms, there is hope...
