From down under we bring you a deep and sexy EP by Melbourne based artist, Alkan. With releases on Bosphorus Underground and Android Muzik, he delivers two dark and gritty originals both very unique in their own way.

Seismal D is no stranger to the Techno community and his upbeat and energetic signature sound shines through on his take of 'Breaking Bad'ˇ however done with a new dark twist exclusively for Brood! We definitely get a glimpse of his other side with this wicked remix.

After years apart, we've finally got the boys back on our screens later this month. What better way to celebrate than by marking another return, to the label of their post-breakout "Stash" victory lap. Aus, Belfast and Boiler Room: there's no place like home.

"Just" wastes no time locking the brisk rhythm into place before a wriggling earworm of a lead pans across the channels. Atmospheric swells are pieced by gatling-gun snares; the tension builds but never releases, making this a surefire precursor to the bulk of heavyweight set climaxes you're likely to hear this summer. As ever, the aural equivalent of 20,000 bicep emojis.

Back in May, we Debuted a track called "Just"; you might just have heard of it. @feelmybicep are no strangers to breakout belters, but even by their standards this one has been picking up a heap of plaudits. So naturally we're more than willing to help facilitate their next step toward world domination, especially given as it arrives via their own cherished namesake imprint.

This, the title track from another forthcoming collaborative release with Hammer (an artist the Belfast boys are putting serious muscle behind) is equally tense and beguiling. It hooks you in from the word go, with a nagging piano lead, ooft-y mini breakdown and shiver-inducing sirensong calling through the mist. Close your eyes and you can imagine "Dahlia" laying waste to festival stages – oh wait, that actually did actually happen at Bicep's homecoming BR. Go figure.

Our growing label's next  release is a big milestone, as this one is our 10th release on Truesounds Music. The efforts and the hard work we've put in are paying back, and from this special occasion we proudly present you Hernan Cerbello from Argentina! Hernan delivers a powerful EP to start 2016 in a proper way. The temperamental grooves on both originals makes your hip move automaticaly. The driving beats, fat basslines and hypnotic vocal samples ready to rock any dancefloor.

On the remix duties we proudly present you one of the greatest producer around, Berlin based Martin Roth!! /get physical, anjunadeep, poesie/. His remix is a typical slowly building mind blowing remix mixes up elements from deep house and techno as well, that has already enourmus support of many A list djs.
The other remix is by the head honchos of the label Peter Makto & Gregory S. who  delivered their very own recognisable sound with this dancefloor filler. This track explains why they are one of the best in this stlye from the region! 

Last but not least comes Spieltape, who had also some great releases on the imprints like Moodmusic, Get Physical and Highway Records. He  added a techy groove to Native Flavor  and gave the track a new life it deserves.

Why do we tell stories?

We breathe, we eat, we sleep. We seek connection. These are our basic human needs.

But there is one more need we all share, and it centres on stories. All across the world, stories are being recounted everywhere, in every imaginable way, at any given time. For telling stories is at the very essence of what it is to be human.

The universe of stories can be broken down into seven basic plots which underlie all stories ever told. Recognising these patterns is the gateway to unravelling the universal symbolic language from which all storytelling is spun.

Beginning with Overcoming The Monster, Chapter 24 has gathered artists from across the globe to bring these themes to life for its Seven Stories VA series.

Up-and-coming Dutch producer and Paradigm resident Malbetrieb (SoHaSo, Selador) opens proceedings with ‘Epic’. Fiendish acid licks intertwine with soaring vocal pads and uplifting top lines in a driving, melodic track.

One of the biggest producers in Ukraine, Stas Drive (Hope, Sudbeat) is up next with the titanic ‘Aphrodite’. A tribal tech groove pounds forth, underpinned by brooding and mysterious atmospheres.

Enter Dragon Suplex, a twin-headed tune producing beast from Switzerland who deliver the third track with ‘Mystified’ feat. Samzing. Another behemoth, this one is equally dark and banging, bringing a good dose of tension to proceedings.

As the compilation advances to its denouement, a little brightness starts to pierce through the storm clouds. Hailing from Peru, a breeding ground for young talent in the underground house scene, Frank Serin strikes a more hopeful tone with ‘La Sonrisa de la Mujer’.

‘Somnium’ by the London-based Chapter 24 boss Sam Pauli and label regular Reiver enhances the dreaminess on offer. A drifty, hypnotic and emotive cut unfolds into a tremendous, musical break.

Finally, the compilation ends with a focus on French producer Anton Dhouran. Having already been signed by Diynamic and with music forthcoming on Jeudi Records, Anton deploys his considerable skills on ‘Meyah’, a deep, groove-laden number enhanced by ethereal pads. The real story, however, comes with ‘A Kind Of Light’ which closes the narrative with a heroic instrumental tale.

They say that there are only seven basic plots but a thousand different stories.

And so, as the storyteller utters that age old, magical formulation, "Once upon a time...", let yourself be carried away…

Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. Soft pads, beautiful rhythms and a distinct eastern vibe mark the latest footprint in the journey of the young music maker. Release date - January 16th, 2017.
