Akbal Music, a label that started in the Riviera Maya launched in 2006 in Mexico and by now travelled around the globe and connected with amazing artists and musicians is celebraring this year it´s 15 years milestone and we are hyper happy for this achievement releasing a massive compilation divided in 3 parts perfect to keep the momentum of this historic celebration.

The third episode of our 15 years celebration comes with tracks by Zone+ , El Mundo & Flowers on Monday, Namito collaborating with Brams Sedrati and finally our own Mexican artistis Balcazar with Ismaehl and Replicanth .

Expect to be a full journey on sound with multiple layers and various soundsacpes.

Berlin's Powel has been a longtime friend of Do Not Sit, releasing his first EP on the label back in 2018 and most recently remixing George X's 'Slice of Life', and performing numerous times at our club home in Miami. We welcome his return with the new four track EP, 'Back To The Beginnings'.

Created with his signature touch of elegance and rhythm, the works straddle between the deep and organic. Leading with the harmonious nuances of 'Iche Warte.' into the title track's atmospheric pulses, and followed by the vitality of 'Samba Par Ty', and rounding out with the beautiful vocal spirits of 'Whatever'.

Canopy Sounds is a new platform, that brings together the melodies of the dreamers. With finesse and a great selection for the artists, they started to become the harbor for mindful and intimate mixes, that give a thoughtful and emotional insight of the artists. Following the dreamy pioneers of the scene, Canopy is inspired by the wunderous grooves of labels like All Day I Dream, Shanti Moscow Radio, Akbal Music, Dream Culture, Sag & Tre and more. Now this new project is turning into a little label, that kicks itself off with an exciting roster of talented artists, all put together in a well crafted V.A. , which underlines the sound of our dreams.

"Viento" is a production from newcomer Nodo, featuring argentinian producer Mule, both fairly new names, who are able to present one of the best pieces in this debut release on Canopy, while going against established artists in the scene. The gentle pacing of the track, combined with it's soothing piano hits are pleasing to listen to, while the story always circles back to a hypnotic bass rhythm, that won't get stagnant.

The new EP on Saturn Return is produced by Rowee and Nuiton and is a quality piece of music. ‘Lost Forest’ is a surreal march through a range of metaphorical textures. Endless permutations of rhythm, beat, percussion and a caustic voice are the main elements for more than 10 minutes. An additional acid synth finally emerges, breaking the rules of the beat. It’s romantic, hypnotic and strikes the perfect balance between angular rhythms and dreamy melodies. ‘Description of a Dream’ exudes ethereal patterns and nature like sounds. The prominent bassline includes plenty of water drops and build ups... this track seems to stretch out endlessly into the distance.
