Township Rebellion step up with the autumnal-inspired, adventure-ridden four-track EP Balance. Opening track Romeo revolves around a sparse, dramatic bassline and similarly sentimental synths, making for introspective flashes on the dancefloor. On November were greeted by grand melodies with huge, spacious pads and monumental breakdowns, the perfect ingredients to spark up those emphatic, hands-in-the-sky type of moments. Meanwhile, Monocloque flips the script and reveals ample pads in a spectral, dark sound palette, decked with ominous synths and looming resolutions. Splatters of percussion and haphazard chords are key on Compass North, rounding up the release in a similarly lofty yet dance-provoking manner.

Premiere: Julian Wassermann - Painfully

‘Palais’ is a 12 track multi-faceted exploration of Kris Baha’s musical sensitivity. The one man band’s namesake LP title, ‘Palais’ is based around the concepts of alienation, detachment, melancholia and lust. All songs written, performed, recorded and mixed by Kris between 2015 - 2018 in Berlin, laced in his signature industrial sound.
‘Palais’ encompasses a range of shades from dance-floor works ‘ Living Nothingness’, 'Brink Reality (Part 2)' & 'Non For The Sane’ to experimental cinematic undertones 'You Told Yourself This Would Get Worse’. Also embodied are modern classics like the machine funk metallics of ’Steel Sands’ and ‘Defied’, a year 2042 cyber punk hit. There’s even a dark room inspired theme for the black leather lovers. From his own batch of psychedelia to post-punk and electronic romanticism this album is full of surprises and Cocktail d’Amore Music is absolutely proud to present this outstanding work.

PREMIERE : Kris Baha - Non For The Sane

A song written by @DVS NME and @KellyGilleran on 8/31/2019 - We used Roland SE-01, TR-8S, SH-01, TB-03, and JX-03. Chords played live by Kelly. The rest was programmed by me and played live. Recorded in one take. The image might suggest to some that this song title and the overall session was influenced by the 90's kids toy 'Creepy Crawlers. In reality, it was really because the commercial theme got stuck in our heads when we were drunk.

DVS NME - Creepy Crawlers

Maltese @Sound-Synthesis-official is an active member of the small but healthy electronic music community of this tiny island, which lies in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. With this moniker, he started his career in 2009 by releasing his first work on the @paul-blackford fronted 'Militant Science'. After some releases in different netlabels and a couple of side projects, this release on @NebulaeRecords entitled IC 4406 is a 4-track EP with a clear Electro flavor, dreamy atmospheres, and epic synth layers, all seasoned with some acid drops. This will be available on September 27th, 2019.

DVS NME - Labor Practices

Odopt once defined their music as 'peak time bangers with a twist', and it's easy to grasp why. Their tracks have the kind of propulsive energy that can send any dancefloor into a frenzy, but the way they build them couldn't be further of the usual big room schematics. In their universe, the sounds are strange, the samples obscure and the structures unexpected. Risky music made to be felt, not thought. EBM if the E stood for experimental. A big part of this vision was cultivated at the Denis Simachev Bar in Moscow, a 'punk and kitschy' spot where Grisha and Ivan spent countless nights playing music, inviting friends to perform and testing all their new productions. The bar was, in their own words, 'the heart of a city'. The nucleus of their Moscow. Sadly, it closed its doors last April after 12 years. 'Sociopath EP' is a sort of sonic testament of the venue. Its three tracks seek to capture the spirit of a place that served as a huge inspiration for the Odopt's sound, and listening to them it's easy to understand what made it so special, even if one has never been there.
