One such perversion that we at Saved Records will be reckoned by come judgement day, will be the excellent new collaboration between Martin Eyerer & Markus Homm. A dream-team concocted in the fires of the underground, we are proud to unleash this formidable pairing for the very first time. As far as we are concerned, it’s well worth crossing the big man for!

“East Cost / West Coast” is deep, rolling techno with plenty of drive. Surging bass drives the track along with cylindrical synths firing with mechanical repetition. Lulled into a hypnotic groove which is exaggerated by distorted vocal snippets, suddenly the track explodes with more weight and cranking mechanics to create a jacked up soundscape. Owing it’s dub-like atmospheres and ghetto-funk attitude to each cost in equal measure, the tune encapsulates the sentiment of the USA’s underground.

“The Duke” is more stripped back, relying on punchy beats, a driving bass bassline, skipping cymbals and squelching synths. The atmosphere is deep, dubby and intense, initially letting the listener settle into its pace before indulging in swirling FX work to create a trippy but heads down attitude.

Ho ho ho! Christmas is in the air and we're starting to feel a little bit like Santa here at Data Transmission - no we've not put on weight and had too much sherry, you can never have to much sherry...- as we serve up our second free download of the week.

This time we've hooked up with our good friends over a Midnight Shift to bring you Kirk Degiorgio's expertly crafted vocal remix of Portuguese producer Ka§par's 'Let Me Be'. Originally offered up as a bonus track for those who pre-ordered Ka§par's inbound 'Sisyphean Rage' EP, the remix sees the UK techno veteran sprinkle his magic on the record's B-side, transforming the "ruff n’ tuff house-meets-techno tumble" into a far lighter affair, with uplifting pad work underpinning Jerry The Cat's retrofitted vocals.

A varied record sure to pick up plenty of attention upon it's January 11th arrival you can download Kirk's vocal edit of 'Let me Be' below.

Nuno Dos Santos, the Portugal-born Dutch national has a cheeky charm about him that is difficult to escape and that works so well in his favor when taking control of the decks.

Whether it’s running his own label Something Happening Somewhere, producing music, or DJing, you can feel that Nuno is utterly in love with what he does. As an acclaimed, he has worked with artists like Patrice Baumel, Estroe and TJ Kong and has done so on labels like Compost, Planet E, Green Records, Traum and Connaisseur. Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa.
