"When Tim Green came to us with his infectious and stunning ''In Love'' EP, we knew immediately it would fit the Get Physical ethos perfectly. We fell ''In Love'' with it's warm groove as well as deep soulful vocal hooks straight away, now, we place it in the trusting hands of Audiofly and Robert Dietz to see what direction they can it in.

 Audiofly's sound is full of passion and groove hence why ''In Love'' suits their style so well. The duo take Tim Green's original and throw in a fat bass, their trademark sharp percussion which lead the way for the underlying, distant chords. They chop up the vocal to great effect and, coupled with their adept production skills, turn '' In Love'' into a roller coaster ride for dance floor enthusiasts.

 As for the mighty Robert Dietz, he fills the original with his unique driven energy and layers crisp percussion. He takes ''In Love'; into a new and unique direction with his cleverly crafted reversed vocals, tight claps and cheeky delay. All the ingredients are there to make this track into a summer scorcher of a track, prepped and primed for the most discerning dance floor."

This year’s edition of Steyoyoke’s ‘Couple Affair’ features four solid tracks that combines two artists from six label members: Soul Button, Nick Devon, Strinner, Darko Milosevic, Arude and Ceas. Nick Devon and Darko Milosevic join forces to create ‘Pictures From The Past’, a heavenly techno imprint of a never-ending climax. Next up, Strinner teams up with Soul Button with ‘Oracle’ and takes us to a darker space with a deep, echoing melody, and a refrain that is pared back to its essential parts. The 44th Chapter in this story sees the release of JOBE’s My Regrets, featuring the haunting vocals of Haptic and a big Edition from label bosses VVerses.

As ever with JOBE, the EP is a powerful combination of darkness, melody and heft.

Title track My Regrets is true to form, built on a chunky, driving groove that opens into an expansive and euphoric vocal-led peak in which Haptic takes the lead, giving a performance that is typically haunting and emotional. The Dub Edition, meanwhile, offers a useful counterpoint that smooths out the highs of the original.

Up next, the VVerses Lessons Learned Edition is a blissful combination of new wave-influenced broken beat, delayed basslines and dripping acid. Haptic’s vocal, transformed into an impersonal and heavily vocodered robotic presence, holds the track together as it culminates into choppy ravey chords that channel a Balearic feel.

Final track Luma is an ominous afro tech roller, big dusty drums encasing a central arp that ups the ante and is bound to make the dancefloor bounce. Interweaving synths relentlessly build the tension to a crescendo.

JOBE does it again with his My Regrets EP, right in time for the summer months. Here are stories in sound not to be missed on Chapter 24.
