Super talented Swiss producer Jeremy Vieira is known as Several Definitions. His fresh sound means another step in the contemporary electronic music scene. His sound is hard to get a clear definition, it rides between tech-house and trance.
 
The pack opens with Square, where Jeremy presents a unique and new style offering fresh proposes to a track. He only needs a few items to get the best result. Why Eat a Super Jam offers a catchy voice as a hook and some amazing crazy synths in an unpredictable way. British rising star Ten Ven gives the best on remix duties for a special version of this.

Swiss Dj & producer Several Definitions drops by Definition:music to leave a deep and heavy 2 track EP, Delusion. With releases already on labels like Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent, and Saura, the expectations are set high. But were hooked right from the beginning of the title track with a no-nonsense approach to get the floor moving. A kick breaks the silence, accompanied by stuttering hats. What starts small, blooms into an epic dancefloor experience, more tech than house. Fast, rhythmic basslines and steamy percussion is the name of the game here. The second track sports inviting bassline melodics, keeping the pressure up with distortion and deep kicks. This is another late night show stopper, pulling its own weight on the floor and begging to be played.

3 QUESTIONS to SEVERAL DEFINITIONS:

Q: Listening to your mix is a showcase of your influences. So the early 2000´s formed your music?

A: Yes mostly. I discovered the electronic sounds in those years. Trance melodies have influenced me in what I like to produce today.

Q: You´re living in the french part of Switzerland. How would you describe the electronic music scene there?

A: Difficult! Unfortunately, It's hard to have support in the region. Unlike the German side where people are much more into the electronic scene. I hope that this will change in the coming years.

Q: Your release output is huge, having only strong releases on big labels. So what can we except soon?

A: Currently I work a lot on my first album, which will be released on Stil Vor Talent, a Berlin music label. The album will be very personal and will produced on various influences. Besides that, I 've done some remixes and a big collaboration with Marc DePulse! I leave myself time to find the right labels.

"It was at the age of 8 that Jeremy, alias Several Definitions, developed his desire to be in the world of music by receiving drums for Christmas. He took lessons for more than 6 years, played several concerts for his friends and learned the basics of music.

After he received his first paycheck, Jeremy bought his first turntables. Growing up in the Hip Hop culture, he liked scratching with his friends but over time, Jeremy was more and more interested in the faster and catchy beats of House music.

He was 18 years old when he made his first tracks. Active by nature, Jeremy headed to a mix between house and electro sounds. He quickly associated with another swiss DJ and formed the duo “Radi & Keith”.

During this time, the two fellows move towards a more Deep kind of music with catchy sounds. They released several tracks on different labels such as Seven City music, Funktion Black, Vamos music, Housesession and others.

The moniker “Several Definitions” was created in 2014, after Jeremy decided to continue a solo career with more Techno influences. According to him, loss, love and joy are the feelings that give him the greatest inspiration. His productions are intense and full of various sounds, all built on a line of percussions.
