Having released on the likes of Suara, Phobiq and Respekt to name a few, they bring freshness to the techno circuit with the hard-hitting “Optical Converter” EP.

Premiere: The Reactivitz - Remember Me [Codex Recordings]

Following the internationally celebrated release of their debut album "The Signs Within" in 2017, burgeoning Japanese techno duo Drunken Kong look to kick off a brand new decade in emphatic fashion, as they announce the forthcoming release of their eagerly-anticipated sophomore long player, "Where We Start."

Due for worldwide release on February 10 via Christian Smith’s esteemed Tronic Music imprint, Where We Start marks the second full length opus from the Tokyo-based outfit, whose impressive catalogue of unique techno productions have also been homed by the likes of Terminal M, Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and Session Womb to name a few.

Featuring a total of sixteen diverse cuts, including thirteen brand new Drunken Kong originals, two recent collaborations with Mainz-based outfit Teenage Mutants and one exclusive new collab with Tronic head honcho Christian Smith, Where We Start is Drunken Kong’s most extensive body of work to date, and goes a long way in showcasing the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific double acts in techno right now.

Premiere: Drunken Kong & Christian Smith Toro (Original Mix) - Tronic

JackRock, one half of Balthazar & JackRock, returns as a solo artist to deliver his latest techno EP. His four-track EP features basslines, melodies, and synths that will make anyone listening groove. 
Starting off with 'Manitou', the track offers a dark and heavy bassline that drives the entire track. Containing nostalgic electronic rave synths, 'Manitou' will work perfectly into any dancefloor. 'Irreversible' delivers a more melodic twist to techno giving the audience a complete musical journey. With a driving pluck synth throughout the whole song, 'Irreversible' gives the audience new elements to keep them hooked. 'Gaia' features a faster-paced rhythm with pristine percussion. Moreover, it contains a perfect, engaging arp melody that turns into different sounds and touches on higher or lower octaves. 'Mind Rush' encompasses every element needed for the perfect dancefloor anthem. With a catchy rhythm, an atmospheric vocal, and different melodic elements, 'Mind Rush' will indeed give a mind rush to the listener.
