The original is so dope that we just went crazy with the remixes!!! With some of our favourite producers reinterpreting it in their own typical styles! With our all time favourite Sahale releasing with us for the first time is a lovely cherry on the top…Can’t believe it!!!

‘Love And Night’ is the fruits of a rousing new collaboration between Sicilian house producer DJ Vivona and South African chanteuse, Lizwi. Underpinned by a charismatic melting pot of afrocentric charm and emotive electronica, Lizwi delivers a deep, spellbinding vocal performance, charged with a message of love. Across the package Vivona has created a variety of mixes for widespread dance floor appeal, ramping up the late night heat with a sublime Deep Mix.

Sicilian producer DJ Vivona has been contributing to the dance music scene for many years, running his successful Sunclock label, known for its contemporary Afro, Deep and house output with artists such as Enoo Napa, Pablo Fierro, Sossa, Jon Cutler, Radyon, Dazzle Drums and many more. Some of his own productions for the label feature acclaimed vocalists such as Lisa Shaw and Joi Cardwell. Vivona’s profile rocketed after he remixed legendary King Street Sounds tracks from Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Pierre, Tiger Stripes, Mood II Swing, Byron Stingily and Barbara Tucker. His original productions on King St have also been remixed by greats such as Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper aka Director's Cut, Joeski, Basti Grub, Gene Farris, Dino Lenny, Vince Watson and Rocco. DJ Vivona’s recent notable releases include the hugely acclaimed single with NYC’s Monique Bingham, 'Over Him, Under Him’ and ‘Ndiyagodola’ featuring Toshi (Sunclock), ‘Waiting For You’ on Crystal Waters’ IAH Records, and 'Higher Love' featuring Jinadu on Major Underground. 

Singer/songwriter, Nokuphiwa Lizwi Mbatha is a South African Afro Tribal artist who draws inspiration from her unique Zulu ancestral background and infuses dance music and African acoustics into her sound. She released her debut single 'Ndiyoyika,' in 2018 and has since gone on to work with the likes of LadysmithBlackMambazo, Doug Gomez, Themba, Vanco, Afro Warriors, Saint Evo, Dj Sbu and Cee ElAssaad, among many key players in South Africa and across the globe.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.
